*Third Person POV*
Andy was thankful that all of the sneaking around and proof was collected, so he would get back to doing his homework. He was behind on not all of it, but didn't want to get it stacked higher than it was.
A knock from his door interrupted his focus and gets his attention. "Hey little bro." His sister comes in and opens the door.
"Hey Aalia?" Andy fiddled with his pencil. "What's up?"
Aalia comes into his room. "Nothing just curious about who you were talking to? Or talking about?"
Andy hangs his head. "You heard, didn't you?" He wish he didn't know the answer.
"Yeah, you talk loud! Even though the walls are paper thin up here it sounded like you were in my room talking to someone about a girl?" Aalia sits on the bed smirking.
"Fine. I was talking about a girl. You know her, Veronica?"
Aalia nods. "Yeah you mentioned her a couple of times. Your long time friend?"
He nods and sighs. "Yeah ever since elementary school."
"So you like her or something?"
Andy scrunches his eyebrows. "Uh no way we're just friends."
Aalia gets up. "Whatever little bro." She sighs and gets up.
She heads to the door but suddenly turns back around to Andy. "Oh and mom says dinner is going to be ready soon."
Andy gives a sarcastic thumbs up. "Ok I'll be down in a bit."
Once Aalia hears she goes out of the room and shuts the door. Andy looks back at his desk with his math homework and math book on his desk. After everything he has had to do and has to do later got him really tired. He gets off his chair and lays down on his bed and starts to think.
"She is just a friend. A witch friend? Or a normal friend?" Andy starts to think if his friends really tell him the truth, especially Veronica.
The next morning Veronica walked up into school going to the PF locker rooms while Andy ran to see if she was alone or not. He goes behind the same corner of the Special Ed classroom where the boys met up last night.
"Hey Andy." He jumps, from Vince's voice.
"Woah your jumpy." He comments as he turns to him.
"Really Vince?!" He shouts annoyed.
"Sorry I didn't know you were so focused on..." He looks at the direction Andy was looking at seeing Veronica talking to some girls from the locker room.
"Veronica" Vince says getting quieter.
Andy nods, calming down from the scare. "Yeah it looks like we could confront her during Brunch." As Andy says that the bell rings.
They face each other. "Well I'll go tell Adrian that." Vince says walking past Andy.
"OK see ya." Andy shouts.
"See ya." Vince turns back before running off to class. Andy turns around and takes on look back at Veronica talking to one of her friends before walking to his class.
Once 1st block starts Veronica stands on her spot fiddling with her fingers hoping that the "Running Man" was gone in peace and healed everyone back. She then overhears some of her classmates talking and mentioning their friends legs and ankles healed up enough to get discharged. Veronica secretly smiles with glee knowing she did her job and "The Running Man" did his.
