It was time to go to Lidia's manor for the ball. I was in my bedroom getting ready. I put my hair like this-

Then I put on my dress and shoes. I did my makeup-

Then I was all ready to go so I started walking down the stairs. Father,Olivia, and Henry were already waiting. Father and Henry both dressed in expensive black suits and Olivia in her dress.
Soon enough Eric came down the stairs, dressed in a black suit as well.
Father was distant, very distant. I hadn't talked to him much since I got back from the Weasleys. He didn't seem that angry about it though.

We arrived at the Adam Manor and we were greeted by Lidia and her parents at the front door. Lidia had to stay to greet the rest of the guests so I had to stay with my family for the time being.
Eric drifted off quickly, as did father. Olivia walked around with Henry and I before she found some food that she said she was"starving for". Henry, however, stayed with me a bit longer.
He did decided that he wanted a glass of punch so I told him that he could go and I would be fine. He left and I was left alone. I stood towards a wall, facing all of the people.
Of course I had been over to Lidia's house multiple times, some were for balls while others were not. I knew my way around and I felt kind of comfortable there.
Suddenly a voice interrupted my thoughts.
"You look beautiful as always",Draco said standing by my side. I blushed slightly and he seemed to notice because the corners of his lips curled up.
"And you look as handsome as ever",I complimented him.
"Thank you",Draco replied kindly. I was getting used to him being around me. I liked him being around me, but I wanted more. And suddenly I realized why.
"Draco",I asked softly.
"Yes, Ella",Draco asked and I turned my body to face him.
"Could we maybe...talk? Outside possibly",I asked hopeful that he would reply with a yes.
