Not Softer

I haven't done Draco's pov in a while so here you go:

Dracos pov

I ran away from all of the staring eyes but mostly, her eyes. I couldn't bare to see her ocean blue eyes staring at me. I was embarrassed, obviously, but I was more angry than anything.

That stupid dim witted professor had turned me into a damn ferret. And for what, because I pointed my wand at Potter, he said disrespectful things to Ella. Yet, he got no punishment what so ever.

I was running past a corner when I heard the familiar angelic voice that I thought I might have been falling in love with. I stopped for a brief moment to hear her clearer.

"Draco! Wait please",Ella called and I glanced behind me to see her about 2 miles away from me.

I began to walk away at a quick pace, not a run, just a quick pace. I swiftly dodged the walking students or I just shoved them down.

"Draco",I heard Ella call once more from a far away distance.

I sighed heavily and then turned around. I saw Ella trying to run through the bunch of people. She reached me and she gave me a small smile that I did not even attempt to return.

"I want to be alone okay",I asked in an annoyed tone. She didn't deserve it, I was just upset.

"Draco, I'm so sorry. Professor Moody should have never-",Ella said but I interrupted her.

"Yeah he shouldn't have. Now he's going to regret it. I'm writing a letter to my father right now",I said and started to walk off to the Slytherin common room.

I stopped in my walk once I felt a small warm hand grab my hand. I knew her warm touch, and I also knew the fact that no one else would dare to touch me.

"Please Draco",Ella pleaded and I turned around.

"Aren't you scared someone will see you talking to me? Damn who knows what people would think if they saw you grabbing my hand",I said harshly.

She reacted quickly and took her hand from mine and I rolled my eyes. I walked off again and this time when I turned around to see if she was still following me, she was still standing in the crowd of people.

I walked off to the Slytherin common room and I pushed everyone out of my way. I was sure that the whole ferret thing was going to spread around the school quickly.

I got to my dorm room and was even more in a bad mood once I found Blaise and Theo doing their pwn thing in the dorm room that we shared.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to my trunk where some extra parchment and a quill was. I could feel both of their eyes burning into me.

"What's got your knickers in a twist",Theo asked.

"Just shut up Nott",I yelled at him as I slammed my trunk shut.

"Damn",Theo mumbled.

"I thought you were getting better",Blaise muttered.

"What",I asked loudly.

"Well, we were talking and-",Blaise said.

"Who was talking",I asked loudly.

"Just Theo and I. It's just that you've been acting different mate. A little...how do I say this? Nicer? Softer",Blaise said.

"I have not been acting nicer nor softer",I argued.

"Mate, this Hufflepuff has a real huge effect on you",Theo said.

"Yeah, I mean you start dating her and now all of a sudden your not so...well you know, you",Blaise said.

"I am not acting different! And there's nothing wrong with being me! And I'll prove it to you, I'm not being softer",I yelled at them.

"How are you going to prove that",Theo asked curiously.

"I'll..I don't know. Hex a first year",I decided.

"You still do that",Blaise pointed out.

"Yeah, you did that just yesterday",Theo said.

"Then I'll..."I stopped thinking of what to say.

I didn't know how I was supposed to prove to them that I wasn't becoming softer because of Ella. I was still the same Draco Malfoy that everyone feared and most people hated.

"Sneak out to Hogsmead tonight after curfew",Blaise suggested.

"Alright fine I will",I said.

"Perfect. But don't bring your girlfriend along",Blaise said.

"Shut up Zabini",I warned him.

He held up his hands in defense and I rolled my eyes as I began writing to father about Moody's stupidity behavior.

A/N I know I haven't wrote in a long time and I apologize. I also apologize for this chapter being kind of short but I am excited to write the next one.
