I had gotten off the train with Draco and I ran into Sophia,Linda, and Hannah. I pulled my hand away from Draco's quickly and he looked at me confused until my 3 Hufflepuff friends came up to us.

"Where were you",Hannah asked and she gave Draco a weird look because he was still standing next to me.

"We were waiting for you but you never came",Sophia said.

"And why are you with Malfoy",Hannah scowled.

"I was..I'm not with Malfoy. What do you mean? Let's go",I said grabbing Hannah's arm and walking away. I sighed quietly when we reached the carriages.

All 4 of us sat in one and I saw Draco a few carriages away. He glanced up and noticed my eyes on him. He smiled slightly and I smiled a little as well, before turning my attention back to my friends.

Linda gave me a sympathetic look as an apology. Hannah looked like she was in an absolute rage. Sophia looked rather confused but no anger was shown from her.

"So? Are you going to tell us where you were",Hannah asked loudly.

"I was sitting with Eric today",I said.

"No you weren't. We asked Eric and Henry, even Olivia. They all hadn't seen you",Hannah said.

"Okay fine. I wasn't with them because I was with...Ginny",I said.

"Ginny",Sophia asked.

"Ginny Weasley",Hannah asked and I nodded.

"Well why wouldn't you come with us. And why didn't you tell us",Sophia asked.

"I'm sorry okay. I just didn't really want to talk. I'm going through some things and I just wanted some time alone. I ran into Ginny and so I sat with her",I lied.

"It's alright. We understand",Sophia said pulling me into her embrace. I hugged her back and I caught a glimpse of Linda's disappointed gaze.

"That still doesn't explain Malfoy",Hannah said.

"I told you, there is nothing to explain about
Dra-Malfoy",I said quickly as I let go of Sophia.

"Sure there isn't",Sophia winked at me.

"Stop it, Sophia. There is nothing",I yelled which caught attention from some of the carriages around us.

By now we had arrived and people started getting off. I sighed and got off the carriage and quickly walked away, leaving my friends alone and confused.

I was so irritated that when I sat down at the Hufflepuff table, I made sure to sit in between people so I wouldn't have to sit by Sophia and Hannah.

I knew Hannah hated Slytherins so I didn't want to tell her. I didn't have much of a problem with telling Sophia, except for the fact that she's a gossiper so Hannah and half of the school would know about Draco and I by the end of curfew.

I saw them enter and I kept my head low. Hannah gave me a confused glance before she stomped past me towards the end of the table. Sophia followed after her. Linda walked past me and sighed.

"Can you move over please",Linda asked one of the girls beside me.

"Sure",I girl said and scooted closer to her friends.

"You can't keep this a secret",Linda said. She sat down beside me and placed her hand onto mine.

"I know",I sighed.

"Look Ella, maybe he is one of the biggest bullies of the school, but you like him. And he likes you. A lot. I can tell",Linda said. I blushed slightly.

"Did I tell you that he asked me to be his girlfriend",I whispered.

"Ohhh. What did you say",Linda asked with an eager smile, which made me laugh. I loved Linda greatly, she meant a lot to me.

"I said that I would be his girlfriend",I stated.

"Well, congratulations. But don't you think we should be celebrating with the rest of our friend group",Linda said gesturing her hand towards a glaring Hannah and a sad Sophia.

"Not yet",I said.

"Fine. But you have to tell them eventually. I'm not good at keeping secrets you know",Linda said.

"I know. Your like an open book",I said sarcastically.

"Oh shut up",Linda said and playfully pushed my shoulder.

The 1st years came in and got sorted. Afterwards, Dumbledore started talking about a Triwizard Tournament. He said 3 schools, including Hogwarts, would pick a champion to compete in 3 tasks.

He said that the Triwizard Tournament would be held at Hogwarts. The other 2 schools would be arriving in a few weeks.

I barely listened because I was starving. Once his normal beginning of the year speech, and Triwizard Tournament speech was over, I started filling my plate with all sorts of food.
