from 'Descendants' (lmao)A month had passed and the December breeze had warmed the residents of Kingston into January. The snow was slowly melting away and everyone was feeling fresh after the new year had begun. The sun was brighter and much more warmer than usual and everyone had switched from heavy jackets to thin sweater cardigans.
Each student was curious to see what this new season would bring and amongst these were definitely the students from Kingston High's radiant Soccer Team. It was the second match of the season being held at the Highschool against Short-wood High, the team's ultimate rivals after they had been beaten by Short-wood in last year's semi finals.
Kingston High's team had managed to reach up to this year's semi finals as well and good lord, with the same team. Winning this game would mean getting to the ultimate finals at the end of the year and potentially winning the High School Championship, something that was in everyone's wish list for this year. The setting for this match was much more elaborate than the other two, the soccer ground was surrounded by rows of blue and red chairs and hundreds of spectators were sitting excitedly, almost at the edge of their seats as the match was about to begin. The field had a clean green grass layer out with a goal on either side and the sky was as blue as ever. Y/n had traded places with May and was sitting on one of the front seats only allowed to the player's families, Brandon had wandered off on the other end and was sitting with Jennifer who was also at the game.
Of course Y/n didn't quite like it, but she had to trust her dad when it came to this. Otherwise she was more than happy to call Siena her sister, they had met up quite a few times after that one day and it was a normal thing to have both her and her mother present in the Wheeler's home. Y/n felt great ecstasy waiting for Tom to play on the field, she knew he would absolutely nail it and she couldn't be more happier being close to him. He was yet to tell her that he loved her and she hadn't told him about his insecurities, but she kept telling herself to enjoy the moments she had with him rather than worry.
Y/n had been quite occupied with her reporting classes as well, she loved every bit of it except when that fussy blonde came into the picture. It was excruciating when she used to speak in the sessions, coming up with the dumbest ideas just to impress the professor. Professor Hiddleston had appointed her as the the speaker, because she was only good at one thing, talking. Both Melody and El weren't fond of her either and the three of them had moments when they'd snigger after the Blonde would say something stupid. Melody was only around for another year since her family was travelling back to France while El was already on her way to becoming a journalist. She had applied in many newspaper company's and was being well considered, and of course, the other two girls couldn't be more happier for their friend.
As the warm wind flew past Y/n's face she came back into reality and giggled at the hysterical chanting coming from both school's students, though Kingston High was much louder. Y/n looked around and to her left she could see the coach standing with an anxious expression on his face, the cheerleaders were standing in front of the crowds and cheering them on, the agitating blonde being one of them. Y/n only rolled her eyes and began searching for Brandon. Her eyes fell somewhere a few rows above where both her dad and 'Jen' were laughing away at probably some old high school memory. Y/n wasn't annoyed, she was just afraid that this woman might manipulate her father into something once again and ruin his life. She didn't quite like Jennifer, never mind even if she was her mother. Y/n looked further up the rows and saw Sauce and Zendaya sitting in the middle of chatting students.
