"Its you."

Walking into my room, I unbutton my shirt, throwing it on the floor across the room and I throw myself on my bed. Running my hands over my face, I think about my conversation with Chyenne's sister yesterday, my heart beating hard in my chest. What if Kelsey won't let her see me again? I think. What if we aren't allowed to talk anymore?

I growl, standing up and pacing in my room, my blood boiling in my veins. It's not fair. I think, kicking my side table hard, hearing the wood crack slightly at the force.

Somebody knocks on my door and I pause, recognizing the sweet scent immediately. I open it fast, forgetting I have no shirt on. "Chyenne, what are you doing here?" I step out of the way so she can come in, closing my door silently behind her.

Her eyes remain on my bare chest for a few seconds longer, until she looks up at me, her eyes red. "I.. I wanted to talk.."

"You've been crying," I say in shock. "Why?" Without thinking, I reach out and wipe a stray tear from her face.

She stares into my eyes. "Kelsey's angry with me.." She murmurs, her voice hoarse.

I sigh. "Because you've been talking to me?" She nods slowly, never taking her eyes off of mine. "I'm sorry I've caused you two to fight. I'll stay away from you.."

She shakes her head and I can practically feel her panic coming off her. "No, I- I don't want to stop seeing you!"

I look at her then, confused. "Than why did you come here?"

"I.. I needed to know.." She whispers, finally breaking eye contact with me.

"Know what, angel?" I murmur, cupping her chin and gently tilting her head up to make her look at me.

Her heartbeat speeds up when I call her 'angel' and a blush creeps up her neck. "If you feel it too.."

My heartbeat speeds up now and I nod slowly. "I do.."

She stares at me for a few seconds more before stepping closer to me. "All I can think about is you.."

I swallow, feeling heat spread throughout my entire body, and I step closer to her. "All I can think about is you too.."

We stare at each other for a few seconds more before I lean towards her, pressing my lips gently against hers. She leans her body into mine and twines her fingers in my hair, kissing me back. Slowly, carefully, I lick her bottom lip, asking for entrance and she opens her mouth.

Our mouths move in synch and I savor every moment of our kiss. For a while its as though nothing matters except being here, with her, in this moment. I don't want this to ever stop.. I hear her through the link and I pull back in shock.

"Its you." I say in shock. "You're my.. my.."

"Mate.." She whispers. "They were right."

I look at her then, confused. "Who was right?"

She smiles sheepishly. "Nichola and my mother."

I grin and pull her closer. "Can I..?"

She nods, tugging on my waist. "Please.."

I kiss her again, this time with no hesitation, but we're interrupted by my door being opened by my sister.

She smiles. "Chy, your mother wants you home now."

Chyenne nods. "Bye Jacob.."

"Bye Chyenne.."

Meet me tonight? I say through our new mate link and she glances over Nichola's shoulder and nods.

Where?

The lake? At midnight.

Of course.

Until then my love. I think, smiling as I lay on my bed.
