Chyenne jumps on me to wake me up around noon the next day. "Jacob!" She says excitedly. "Wake up, I miss you."
I groan, pretending to be annoyed and roll over, wrapping my arms around her and pulling her against me. "I miss you too beautiful."
"Okay then wake up." She whines. "I wanna talk to you."
"I'm up, love." I say, kissing her forehead.
I yawn and she shakes me, bouncing on top of me, making my eyes roll back in my head please. "NO WAKE UP!" She says.
I can't help but laugh at her as she attempts to annoy me to keep me awake and she crosses her arms, pouting like a little kid, which only makes the whole situation cuter. "It's not funny." She whines. "I miss you and I want you to wake up."
I kiss her then and she relaxes against me, her hands moving down my chest. "I'm up." I say pulling away.
"Good." She kisses me again, positioning herself on top of me and effectively keeping me awake for the next couple hours.

"Hey Jake." Saemus says when Chyenne and I reach the lake. "How've you been?"
"I'm good, thank you." I say, shaking his hand.
Kaela and Niklaus walk up to me and Kae shakes her head. "Have you gotten taller?"
"Yes." I laugh and she shakes her head again, pulling Niklaus, who nods to me, away with her. "Don't be jealous."
"Note to self," Rose says in a poor imitation of my voice, walking over and hugging me. "Stop growing."
"If I could I would."
I look around at the group of people I was closest to before The Legion and a sense of warmth spreads through me. This is home. No matter what.

"Hey J?" Mike says, his arm around Rose's shoulders. "What was it like..? The Legion?"
I pause, staring into the flames of the fire we'd started a few hours ago. "Hard."
Chyenne touches my arm, obviously aware of how hard the memories of The Legion are for me to
think about. "You don't have to talk about it J." She whispers.
"Yes he does." Mike says. "I wanna hear about it."
"Well maybe he isn't ready to talk about it." Nich says. "Stop being a jerk."
They bicker for a while before I stand and walk slowly toward the bank of the lake, thinking about the brothers I'd lost. I sigh, turning toward the group. Everyone's eyes are on me and I take a deep breath.
"I'll tell you.." I say. "But don't ask for more than I can say.. theres some things.. I'm not ready to talk about yet."
They nod and I walk back over sitting in between my sister and the love of my life and I close my eyes.
"In The Legion..."
