Chapter 10

Oh my god. I had to become a vampire to see my family. No, that cant be possible. There had to be some other way to do this. Some other way to work things out than to just jumpign to one solution, that i dont even think it is a solution. In fact it is the end of my life!

"What?" i stuttered. tears were forming in my eyes. I didn't want to become one of them. No, there had to be some otther way!

"You have to become a Vampire." the king said again.

My head was spinning now and the room was following. This is all so wrong. "Please. don't make me decide." i cried out.

"I'm sorry Hayley, but you have to choose. Your family or your life."

I rocked back and forth in my chair letting the tears spill. A sob escaped my throat and Edward placed a hand on my back. I shrunk away from it and he looked hurt.

"I'm sorry, but its the only way." Edward said placing his hand on my back again. I dind't bother shaking it off, he would just put it back there again.

"THere has to be some other option, right? It doesn't have to result with me losing anything. I could go back home and one of you guys can watch me. I just want to go home." i stammered. I burst into more tears and covered my face with my hands.

"I cant do that." the king said.

I stood up and glared at him. "Yes you can! You're the King. You cna do anything you want! No one can argue with you. You dont have to do this!" i yelled at him.

He shrank back a little bit at my sudden outburst. "I shall give you some time to think it over. How does a week sound?"

They were ignoring my cries. No one was listening to me. I wanted to go home, not to stay here for longer. I stormed out of the room.

"Hayley, stop!" edward called out following me.

"Just leave me alone!" i screamed back at them.

I walked down the hall the water in my eyes blurred my vision. I had never felt so alone before. I didn't want to go back to my room because they would know where i was and find me. Not that they couldn't use their heightened sence of smell. I continued donw the hall and a flight of stairs. I just wanted to get out. When i finally reached the bottom floor i searched for the front door.

I finally found the area that looked familiar. It was the huge room that had comfotable chairs, enough space for hundreds of people. Then i saw it. The front door. I stomped up to it and pulled it wide open. I was about to step our when i noticed the coupld standing there kissing their heart out.

I glared at them silently intil they noticed my presence. They stopped, and stared at me. It was Vincent and i suppose his bimbo girlfriend. And my assumption was right. She was blonde with pink extentions, a thin stick like body. she was wearing a purple miniskit that really had no purpose on her because it was showing off her knickers. She also wore a fishnet top that showd her bra and skin. It had no purpose either because technically we could see her underwear.

"Oh, so this is the weak human. Now get out of my way freak!" the girl said pushing past me. I glared at her and felt something snap inside of me. I was in no mood to be pushed around. I walked behind the girl and she turned around to face me. "Get out of my face!" she squealed. "Help me Vincent, she may get all her human germs on me!"
