Hey guys sorry I haven't upload in a long time. The reason is I have been so caught up in I Can't Live Without You...that I haven't had time to write other books so much. But thank you for all your support, votes and comments. :)

"Huh?" I sat up better using the pillows to support my back. Everywhere ached and I knew I would be black and blue. "You want to be friends with....me?"

He groaned and paced the length of the wall. "Don't make this anymore difficult for me than it already is."

"But are you being serious or are you messing with me?"

"Do you think I would joke about something like this?" I gave him a look. "Yeah okay, I would, but I swear I'm not."

"Why would you want to? I mean, you hated me not long ago and now you want to be best buddies?"

Vincent huffed and through his hands up. "I give in. If you're not going to answer me I'm leaving."

"No don't." I reached for his hand twisting my body awkwardly but before I could grab him black dots clouded my vision and pain shot down my side.

Vincent was there in a second pushing down on my shoulders. "Don't move. Your ribs were healing but now they just got a whole lot worse after you had a one-on-one with my father."

"That's your fault you know," I hissed.

He scoffed. "I saved you. I can't believe how ungrateful you are."

"Not that you twat. You were the one who damaged my ribs first, your dad just hurt them again."

"Whatever, I saved your life so that makes up for it," he grinned waving the accusation away.

"Anyway," I hinted for him to shut up, "I'm fine now."

Vincent started laughing and I looked at him again. I am so not in the mood for his moods. "You look like a gremlin."

"You're not having a good start in being friends," I scowled.

"I mean your face is green." That's when I felt my stomach churn and Vincent was handing me a bucket. I retched but nothing came up but gas. I hadn't eaten in a couple of says so that's probably why. "Gross."

"You should taste it," I spat wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.

"I haven't thrown up in decades and I'm glad. Well there was that one time but I only threw up blood." he mumbled the last part and I ignored it. Of course Vincent gets in fights and damages himself so much he vomits blood.

"That's probably another plus to turning."

"You're considering turning into one of us?" Vincent scooted closer to me on the bed and stared at me with curious eyes. "I just thought it would take longer since you're so stubborn and all."

I glared at him but the huge blush that had risen to my cheeks kind of made him laugh. I had been thinking though. I keep thinking: what's so wrong with becomming immortal? Okay, a lot of things but I have been considering. "Yeah."

"Have you decided then...?" I could see his lip twitch at the thought. He wanted to bite me, I could see it in his red eyes.

"No," I winced. Vincent sighed and climbed over me quickly to sit on the other side of the bed. His scent was enticing and I found myself losing track of my thoughts. "Uh...I kind of like the idea of having a family, watching them have a life and having myself grow old."

"You can still have kids as a vampire."

"I know but it's not the same."

"In fact it's better, Hayley," he laughed without humor. "No illnesses, no death, no troubles. You ge to live your life with your descendants forever."
