Disturbed was an understatement. Freaking out was getting close and going absolutely insane pretty much covered it. Did someone in the real world understand my situation? Did someone actually believe they existed? Could someone get me out of here? I bit my lip in concentration trying to figure out if this was some coincidence or a sik joke. Is it really possible that a person can save me?

Is there a way that I can get in contact with 'Mr. Knowing'?

Probably not. Knowing the King and his spawn they probably covered every possible exit including anything else. There is no way I could have contact with the outside world.

Letting out a frustrated sigh I shut the laptop and placed it back in the drawer. My stomach was full of butterflies, the hope and possible freedom ate away at me. Living with Vampires is going to kill me.

I got off the bed and paced the room, my head down low fiddling with my fingers like a mad woman. I ran a hand through my hair. "I am going insane. This place is insane and I am going to die!" Then I froze as a shadow passed under my door.

Vincent?

I moved slowly towards it, tiptoeing to the mahogany door. I pressed my ear against the wood listening for the slightest of sounds. No breathing, no movement, no sound.

"I know you're out there," I muttered under my breath.

"No you don't," Vincent's voice growled on the other side. I rolled my eyes. So mature, Vince.

"Go away! You're the last person I want to see." I pushed of the frame and plonked onto the couch.

"I don't want to see your ugly face either."

A shocked sound escaped my throat. "You didn't have a problem looking at it a few minutes ago!"

"At least I wasn't the one slobbering all over mine."

"Hey! You kissed me back."

"Shut up!" he hissed. I could imagine him looking both ways down the hall.

"Shut up Sasquatch!" I growled quietly.

He laughed. "Sasquatch?"

"I'm not in the mood, get off my back.Go away!"

"Just open the damn door, Hayley, I'm not in the mood either."

"That's why it's locked, idiot."

"Ha ha very funny, just open the door."

"No."

"Hayley," he warned dragging out my name.

"Vincent," I copied.

"Open the freaking door!"

"No!"

"Do as your told or I will break it down and then your neck."

"If you do that their really is no purpose in you coming in." I picked a nail and then realised how silent it had gotten. I jumped to my feet and shut the window and locked it just in time as Vincent's head popped up and over the ledge. His eyes narrowed when he saw me. I crossed my arms stubbornly and shook my head. "I'm not letting you in and I mean it."

"I can just break the window."

I stood back and motioned to him with a nod. "Go ahead, it's your money."
