"MY LIFE IS OFFICIALLY OVER. I'M DEAD. I'M GOING TO BURN IN HELL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID. I CAN'T BELIEVE I AGREED TO THIS SHIT. MY MANHOOD IS IN DANGER. OH MY GOD WHAT IF IT GETS OUT AND ON THE NEWS. I CAN SEE THE HEADLINES, "IDIOT VAMPIRE ACTUALLY AGREES TO GETTING NAILS PAINTED--SEXUAL NATURE BEING JUDGED." I HATE HUMANS, THEY CAN BE SO...PERSUASIVE!"

Edward's rants were officially getting longer with every minute that went by. "You're such a little girl," I groaned sick and tired of Edward complaining about his ruined nails. "I thought you liked red."

"I only like it in my mouth," he growled. "My life is ruined. People will be laughing at me for decades."

"More like centuries," Caroline laughed. "Maybe this time you don't need to lose that 'important organ'"-

"Cause you've already lost it," I finished receiving a high five from her.

Edward glared at both of us and then glared back at his fingers. "As your punishment you're coming to dinner tonight."

"I'm not going if you're not going."

"Then you're going because this time father wants all of his children present."

"Not fair, I'm still not going."

"I don't care, because you are coming."

"But I don't wanna," I whined falling onto my bed. "It means I have to dress up and try and hide my stupid cast."

"Trust me you can't hide it."

"Shut up, Edward," I snapped.

"I would love you to come with me, Hayley," Caroline interjected. "It would be a bore without the infamous human around." I frowned and shook my head. 

"I'm still not going."

"Why not?" she sighed and locked eyes with me. "I'll spill about my crush if you do."

I pushed my face into the mattress and groaned. "Fine," I said my voice muffled. "I'll come if I get the juicy details."

"Yay! I hate listening to them prattle on about bullshit all by myself."

"So you're making me suffer too," I said with a raised eyebrow.

"Exactly," she cheered pinching my cheek. "Now the dinner is at midnight so I want you rested and looking pretty."

"So you're saying I look ugly."

"Yes, now get a days rest and I come down at about ten o'clock."

"I'm honestly not that tired," I chuckled.

"No, you're over tired. Now get in that bed or I will tie you to it and knock you out."

"Actually can I do that for you, sis," Edward smirked.

I narrowed my eyes playfully and sat up. 

"That won't be necessary, sis," she laughed. That will never get old. "You can leave now, we've had our fun."

"Ouch," Edward growled shifting off the couch and leaving the room.

"I should really do that more often," I smiled.

"Definitely. Get rest, I'll see you in a few hours okay."

"Alright but I will need those details or I will behead you." She smiled and left the room.
