Chapter 13 - Only one Fortune Morgana
*****
"Come on guys! Everyone up!" Hayden's loud voice was heard through everyone's trailer walls as he went around banging on everyone's door.
"Big show is tomorrow and I want at least two run throughs before the days over!"
Fortune groaned and dove her head under her pillow. Julien simply laughed and got up to make her a coffee.
"I'm gonna shove that cane down his throat." She threatened as she reluctantly pulled her head out and stared up at Julien.
"He's your dad's son, did you expect anything else?" Julien laughed as he brought her over a coffee.
She shook her head as she accepted the coffee but watched him walking backwards.
"I'm gonna go straight to the lions, check on them after the rain last night."
Fortune nodded happily as he quickly left their trailer. Taking a few sips she attempted to stretch as she went to get up.
Through drinking her coffee, she managed to attempt to get changed and ready.
Half an hour later and she finally left her trailer, spinning her ringmasters cane around in her hand.
"There's our boss lady!"
She turned and smiled happily as she saw Chase and Jacob coming over to her.
"Morning you two, sleep well?"
"Course Miss Morgana." Jacob beamed at her as they fell in sync, walking with her. "Did you?"
She nodded. "Like a baby."
They both have gave soft smiles as she found herself remembering how her relationship with the Barnes siblings began, in a way such as this.
Though she made the solemn silent vow to not hook up with either Chase or Jacob.
"You guys ready to-" She stopped her sentence as her eyes fell on the lion cages.
They were still covered from last night. She frowned slightly.
"Ready to what?" Chase pushed quietly as he followed her gaze to the lions.
"Have either of you two seen Julien this morning?"
"He went into the aerial girl's trailer with Alice this morning, why?" Jacob asked innocently.
