Jeremy began to sweat and his heart began to beat faster as the beds were closer than he thought.

"Uh...yeah there isn't too much room in my bedroom so the beds are pretty close, it doesn't matter though, right?" Mike questioned, a faint blush on his cheeks.

Jeremy just shook his head. "It doesn't matter, we're close friends anyway. Heck, most friends sleep in the same bed anyway."

"They do? Well if that's the case we might as well move the bed back into the spare room. There will be tons more space if we did," Mike went to the other side of the bed, beginning to push it out of the room. Secretly, he liked this idea too in a way.

Jeremy helped by moving the other end of the bed through the door so it didn't bash into anything. The only thing they didn't think about was Mike's mother.

"Jeremy! You left you bag downstairs!" Before Jeremy could run to get it, Mike's mother was already at the top of the staircase.

"Erm...Mike? Why is the bed in the middle of the hallway?" She questioned, very confused as to why this single bed was just sitting...in the hallway...looking unfitted.

"Well... erm...Jeremy said it was fine and normal for two friends to sleep in the same bed. The spare bed took up so much space, we could barely even move around," Mike explained.

Mike's mother looked at Jeremy, "Aren't you two a little...too old for that now? You're both sixteen, not nine."

"Jeremy..." Mike began, looking at the brunette.

Jeremy blushed and began sweating. Tugging at his sleeves, he replies, "W-Well y-yeah it is n-normal b-because... b-b-because... i-i-if you're close, like w-we are-" He got cut off.
"Dude, chill out. You look like you're going to have a panic attack or something. Who cares what mum thinks? It'll give us way more room to play videogames."

Before the two could actually look at Mike's mother, she was already gone. Shrugging, they thought she didn't care and continued when really, Mike's mother was secretly shipping them, "Jeremike."
