Jeremy sat on the floor in a pool of his own tears, ( Yes tears not blood, he's not dead it isn't that dramatic!) After Mike's kiss he was wondering if he kinda had feelings for him.
'No, no, just NO I can't have feelings for Mike! Heck he's my best friend not my boyfriend there is a tremendous difference! But in some cases your best friend would be your boyfriend, BUT I'm not gay! Or even bisexual, or am I! NO of course I'm not, I just like Mike! But WHY did he kiss me and WHY did I kiss him back! GOD!' Jeremy's mind started thinking.
"Hey buddy, are you gonna get up off the floor! There is tons of people staring at us, oh and stop crying nothing was your fault!" Mike said as Jeremy looked up and realised they were indeed still in the park. All of a sudden everyone in the park started clapping and cheering.
"AHHH Shit, this is like the opposite of what I wanted to do today!" Jeremy quivered.
"Come on lets go before this gets any more awkward," Mike said.
"How much more awkward is it gonna get, Mike, it's not like your mum is gonna be having a Sunday stroll in the park!" Jeremy joked as Mike dragged him through the crowd of clapping people.
"Oh crap my mum," Mike shouted as he pointed towards a fully kitted out tennis player that was his mum.
"I always new you guys would come out the closet," Mike's Mum said.
"It's not what it looks like, are h-head teacher a-asked use to do this t-to stand u-up for h-homos-s-sexual p-people!" Jeremy stuttered.
"Yeah and we better get off to school so we can practise are DJ skills, and before this gets even more awkward because why would people clap I mean you just don't do you?" Mike said sounding annoyed.
"Brilliant, another one of you amazing ideas we are going to have to follow up for weeks, um, like your amazing DJ idea!" Mike said most of it being sarcastic.
"I'm sorry!" Jeremy said, "I can never do anything right can I?" Jeremy said as he started crying again.
"Ahh, look, I'm sorry, you don't have to beat yourself up over it!" Mike reassured Jeremy.
And with that Jeremy and Mike sped off through the park to Mr Guy's office where they quickly snuck in the open door and put all the spare keys on the hooks.
"Hello boys how can I help you!" Mr Guy said startling Jeremy and Mike (Mike not so much) as he walked in the room again.
"Ahh yes we have found the key and we are just now on the case of the missing music equipment!" Mike saved the day once again. (Kinda.)
"Brilliant remember you have to have it back by tomorrow! I've got to say boys I'm impressed with your outstanding behaviour." Mr Guy said.
"Thanks Sir," Mike said exiting the room with Jeremy tagging along sadly.
"Mike," Jeremy said nervously.
"What, we need to head to Miss Tinkler's room to see if she has any spare equipment." Mike said.
"But Mike, I think I'm gonna cry," Jeremy said tearing up.
"Why are you so emotional all of a sudden?" Mike asked, "You already know that none of this is your fault and if you think that I hate you for it I don't so get that out of your head!" Mike said.
"It's not that, it's just that, in the park, you kissed me why!" Jeremy asked.
"To shut you up, obviously," Mike said chuckling.
"No, I know that but why KISS me, why not just slap me or something?" Jeremy wondered.
"Because we were in a park full of people and I wasn't going to slap you was I?"
"But why didn't you do anything else like drag me to the side or just give me a hug something like that! Mike why did you KISS me?!" Jeremy said trying to get some answers.
"Because... because... I am in love with you!" Mike whispered, "Now lets go!" Mike rushed out of the corridor crying.
"aaaaaaha" Jeremy gasped sitting on a bench watching Mike rush down the corridor he had never ever seen Mike cry before.
