I have always loved roadtrips because it gives me an excuse to just sit there and do nothing. No expectations of what I should or shouldn't do.
It's the best when you're with your close friends or family.
Most of the time is spent in comfortable silence, everyone doing their own thing. Then there are the moments when the car is filled with laughter and joy.
Many people say that long car rides are boring, or they just don't like them but, for me, they are something that I love. Simply because they're nothing like my everyday life. It's a time when you can be tired or lively, talkative or quiet, in the conversation or in your own head. You can read, talk, listen to music or podcasts, do puzzles such as crosswords or sudoku, do madlibs, snack, sleep, or anything else you want to do.
Roadtrips can be whatever you want, make them your own.
