Sam's POV:

I then entered Colby's room and I saw him asleep on his bed. As I walked closer, I noticed his right cheek was all bandaged up as well as his wrists. I also saw that he had a head bandage wrapped around his head as well. I then sat down next to him and gently held his left hand. "Hey, love, it's me. I'm glad that you're going to be ok," I said as a tiny smile appeared on my face. "Colbs, I've been wanting to tell you something for some time," I told him as I took a deep breath. "I-I've actually liked you since freshman year. I just didn't know what your sexuality was until you started dating Ryan. So I wanted to respect your decision so I tried to push away my feelings. I tried my best not to lose myself when I found out about Ryan abusing you," I then got up and gently placed a kiss on his soft lips. "Anyways, I better get going."

 I was about to leave when a raspy voice called out to me. "P-please stay," I then turn to see Colby wide awake. "Colby!" I then ran and gently hugged him. He right away hugged me back. "Colby never scare me like that again," I told him. "Sorry Sam, but I just-" "I know, you didn't want me getting hurt," I said as I looked at him.

Colby's POV:

"Sam, did you mean what you said about you liking me and you kissing my lips did you also mean it?" I asked him as I looked down. "Colby, baby, of course, I love you," Sam said. "Also, does this answer your second question?" Sam then leaned in and kissed me. I tensed up a bit but soon relaxed as I felt myself kissing back.

After about two minutes we finally pulled apart panting. "Yes, that did answer my second question," I replied as I felt myself slightly blushing. "Love, why would you ask me that?" Sam asked me. "B-Because Ryan told me that he stopped loving me the day he took my virginity," I explained while looking down and fiddling with my fingers. Sam then gently held my left hand. "Baby, look at me," Sam said as I slowly looked up at him.

"Baby, none of what's happened to you is your fault," Sam said. "I know but if I would've known what his intentions were," I was then cut off by Sam pecking my lips. "Baby don't worry about it, you didn't know," Sam said. "Sam, what are we?" I asked him. "Well, love, I know you just got out of a really bad relationship but will you do me the honor of being mine?" Sam asked me. "I promise I will treat you like the angel you are." "Yes, yes I would love to be yours!" I exclaimed excitedly as I gently hugged him. "Also to be fair, I too stopped loving him a long time ago," I chuckled.

"Throughout my breakup with Ryan, I only wanted to find someone who can treat me better than he can. But I guess I didn't realize that he was near me all along," I said while squeezing Sam's hand. "I love you, baby," Sam said. "I love you too babe," I replied as we both leaned in and kissed. Suddenly the door opened and we both jumped apart. "Hey Sam, we're back," a guy with brown hair said.
