Time Skip
Sam's POV:
Once we got to the hospital, my parents and I waited in the waiting room for some time. "Sam!" I then look up to see Corey and Jake along with their girlfriends Tara and Devyn. "Sam, honey, your father and I going to the police station. We'll be back ok," my mom told me. "Ok, mom," I told her.
"Sam what happened?!" Corey asked me. "Is Colby ok?" Jake asked me. I then explained everything to them. Once I was done explaining, all four of them hugged me. "Don't worry Sam, Colby is going to be just fine," Devyn said. "We're here for you every step of the way," Tara replied. "Thanks, guys," I replied with a sad smile on my face.
"Cole Brock?" A nurse called out. We all then ran toward her. "Yes we're here for Cole," I told her. "Are your parents here?" she asked me. "Oh, um, they went back to the police station but they'll be back," I informed her. "Ok, well Cole is going to be just fine. We were able to surgically remove the bullet that was shot into him," "Can we see him?" I asked her. "Of course, come with me," she told me.
We then all made our way to Colby's room. "Here we are. All we have to do is wait for him to wake up," the nurse told me. "Now I'm going to check on other patients please call a doctor if anything happens." "Will do," I replied. With that, the nurse left as we all stood there in front of Colby's door. "Hey Sam we're going to the gift shop to get Colby something for when he wakes up," Corey said. "You want us to get him anything?" Devyn asked me.
I then remembered the little nickname I gave Colby. "Maybe a stuffed koala thanks," I replied to her. "Koala?" Tara asked me. "Yeah, it's a little nickname I gave Colby since-" "He likes to cuddle you?" Jake said while interrupting me. "Well yeah, but I was also going to say that I find him clinging onto me adorable," I told him while glaring at him. "Aww," Tara and Devyn said in unison. I immediately turned red. "Anyways, we'll be right back, lover boy," Jake said as he smirked at me. I just felt myself turn crimson red.
