Figure roamed the library hallways nonchalantly. There hadn't been any disturbances in a while. The sound of his footsteps echoed across the large room as he staggered his way across the hallway. What a quiet, blissfully peaceful night. Though the entity couldn't exactly read any of the books that surrounded him, it didn't necessarily stop him from being of use to the library. The books seemed to have a numbering dotted out on their spine, telling him what order they went in and where. Being blind didn't mean he was incapacitated, in fact, the entity was most sure that his senses were far more capable than any other creature that roamed the place. It's not like he was completely in the dark.Seek, on the other hand, happened to have no mouth. This didn't really stop him though. He had the ability to communicate with the other entities VIA words appearing in their mind. The entity didn't mind the drawbacks, however, as it was all that he had really known. It didn't really matter in the end. Seek spent most of his days looking around the hotel, or just going over to chat with the other entities. He mostly really just hung out with Figure, though, because he was the only one that actually seemed to not be bothered by him and even enjoying the eye creature's company. Sometimes Seek even referred to his co-worker as his best friend-- a term he picked up from some people staying at the hotel.
Speaking of which, here come some people now.

"Sharon, get into the closet! I saw the lights flicker! That damned thing is coming, I just know it." A man shouted. There was rustling and a sound of footsteps, then the creak of two wardrobes closing. A few seconds passed by, and the footsteps were heard again.
"But I was sure I saw them flicker!" The man said nervously.
"Perhaps it's just your nerves, dear. I've seen myself to better days too. Once we get out of here, we'll save the kids and call the police. I promise you we can get out of here." The old lady responded. She sounded worried and unsure of herself. The lady's voice was shaking, and it had a southern American accent to it. So did the man's."Perhaps you're right.. maybe- oh Lord Jesus in the Heavens! What the fuck is that?!" The man screamed.
Seek winced as one of his lookout eyes watered from excessive light. Blinking rapidly, the entity focused his vision on the other eyes in the room. Squinting the eye he was controlling, he now saw them in full vision. A man in his late 50's and a petite lady in her mid 50's. Both of them had grey hair and didn't seem all that athletic. The man stood a good 5'9 while the lady was a short 5'4. The woman's hair looked to have fallen out of a bun and now draped down her shoulders onto her brown simple sweater. The couple looked incredibly tired, beads of sweat dripping down their foreheads.
Sharon walked over to where the man stood shaken up by the sight of a lookout eye. Seek internally rolled his eyes. Why did they always have to shine the light on his eyes? They didn't do anything to you.. well, yet, at least. He had one individual who died of a heart attack after seeing a room filled with his eyes, but he really didn't talk about that.
"Jared, what is that?" The old lady mustered out.The man poked the eye, as to which both Sharon and Seek flinched.. for entirely different reasons.
"Can you please stop touching my fucking eye?!" Seek thought out to no one in particular, covering his eye with his hands and blinking away the annoyance."Jared, don't touch it!" The lady shrieked in terror, stepping back towards the wardrobe.
"It didn't do anything, I think we're okay, dear!" The man sighed in relief. Seek wasn't exceptionally good at hearing like Figure was, but he was almost certain he could hear the old man's heart beating out of his chest.
Sharon stumbled forward, hugging Jared. The lady whimpered and sighed.
"I don't want to be here." She whispered."Neither do I, but we have to go." Jared hugged the sweet old lady and gave her a kiss. The two continued forward through the next doors.
'Hm. They seem to be some sort of couple. I mean, I suppose it was pretty obvious, but it's not like I was really paying attention either way.' Seek thought to himself. According to his eyes put along the walls, he could see that they were approaching. Both were most likely to die. They were worn out, tired, and old. The lady didn't look like she was in very good health either. Seek shrugged, walking into the wall with his black goop. It didn't exactly come into his liking when people intruded on his hallways and touched his eyes. They would pay with their lives.
