3rd Person POV
Bobby and Whitney's House
Atlanta, GA-

Whitney was at the dining room table, reading the newspapers and magazine reviews of Bobby's reality TV show.

"Mm, hey, Nip." Bobby walks in and takes a seat next to her. "I'm reading the reviews on this show," Whitney says as she reads the newspaper article. "Have you seen this?"

"Mm-mmm." Bobby hums as he takes a look at one of the newspaper articles.

"Undoubtedly the most disgusting series ever to ever ooze its onto television." Reads from the newspaper. "It manages to rob Houston of any last shreds of dignity."

"Okay, yeah. Since when do we care about what the rag mags have to say?" Bobby questions as he puts the newspaper down.

"These aren't the tabloids, Bobby. These are the trades. You got critics, magazines, newspapers." She turned to a page in the newspaper and scoffed. "This is a... this is a favorite. 'You can't take the girl out of Newark, but you can't get her to stop smoking crack.'" She reads. Bobby pinches the bridge of his nose as he listens to Whitney read the reviews.

"Houston is constantly on the verge of a ghetto diva breakdown." She reads another article.

Bobby chuckles as he gets out of his seat. "Oh, man, these tabloids." He laughs. Whitney didn't laugh, she only got more upset.

"You think... you think this is funny?" Whitney furrows her brows as she turns to Bobby still sitting down. Bobby turns to face her.

"Bobby, this is my career. I spent 25 years building it up." She says.

"I-"

"Now, I'm a goddamn joke because of you." She says.

"Because of me?" Bobby questions.

"Because of your show, you-you-you... -You did this to me." Whitney says.

"You're a joke because of me?" Bobby asks. "What did I do, Nip?"

"Are you serious? All the shit you put me through?" She asks getting angry.

"What are you talking about?" Bobby asked, looking at her confused.

"Oh, where should we even start, huh, Bobby? Huh?" Whitney gets up from her seat and walks towards Bobby. "How about Kylea?" Bobby faced her.

"Yeah, you didn't think I knew. You said that you two were over, now all of a sudden you leaving the house all hours of the day and night, bringing my child over to her house." Whitney points out.

"So I'm the only one who cheated?" Bobby remarks.

"You cheated on her with me, remember that?" Whitney questions.

"You have... you have disrespected me over and over again. You have embarrassed me!" She yells.

"Okay. Here we go. All right." Bobby gets irritated as Whitney continues to argue.

"Not to mention all the hundreds of thousands of dollars-"

"Hold up!" Bobby yelled, cutting Whitney off.

"So you want to act like you the only innocent one?" Bobby questions. "Did I make you snort a million dollars up your nose?"

"You tell me every chance you get, nobody controls Whitney. Whitney does what Whitney wants." Bobby said mimicking her.

"That's right," Whitney says.

"But, now it's my fault for ruining your career?" Bobby asked.

"Yes, but of course your so-called 'wife' has it easy, except when she got booed when we first met, do you remember?"

"Kylea has nothing to do with this," Bobby defends.

"See?! You're always defending her, always go to her for everything when you were supposed to be with me!" Whitney points at herself.

"They never wrote about me like this before." Whitney looks down, crossing her arms. "Before I met you, they loved me."

"They loved who they thought you were," Bobby replies. "They didn't know you like I know you."

"They love me," Whitney says.

"No, they don't. They love how you sing!" Bobby yells.

"Should have listened to my mother," Whitney says quietly.

"Oh, my... Are you really doing this?" Bobby asked getting frustrated.

"Yeah. I should've listened to my mother years ago."

"Okay." Bobby nods his head.

"Yeah, she always yells me you wasn't shit," Whitney says.

"Yeah," Bobby says unfazed. "I bet she did."

"Yeah, she did. You know who else warned me? My family. My friends, Clive." She lists the people.

"Mmm. Robyn. Ooh please don't forget about Robyn." Bobby says leaning against the dining chair.

"Don't talk... Don't talk about what you don't know. Do not do it." Whitney says getting close to Bobby.

"Okay, you know what I do know? Everybody started hating Bobby Brown as soon as I got with you." Bobby spits back. "America's little princess. 'Why is she with that thug? He's too ghetto for her. He's too ugly for her. He's a leech."

"Nippy, they said I was a leech." Bobby's voice cracks a little. Whitney stood there silent, looking down.

"You know why I never let that stuff bother me? Because I knew that-"

"That Kylea didn't believe that, it was never about me, and you know that." Whitney faces him with a hardened look on her face.

"Yeah, she did. And if it this what it took to get the truth to come out, I wished we did this damn show 13 years ago." Bobby said as he grabbed his jacket and walked out of the room. "Go to hell, Bobby!" Whitney shouts.

"I'm already there," Bobby replies.

"You go to hell!" She yells again, takes a breath, and walks out of the dining room.
