A Missing Ninja

Chapter Six

Garu was currently far away from Sooga Village, he was now wandering through a dark forest. He was exhausted. It's been hours since he left his home, and he grew weary. "I should make camp here." he thought to himself.  He gathered some wood and started a fire. He sat close to it and began thinking.

"Maybe I was too hasty..." he thought. However, the flashback of what happened between him and Pucca returned to haunt his mind. He shook his head. "No! I made the right decision." he thought. He yawned and decided to call it a night. Before too long, he began to dream deep.

When he opened his eyes, he was shocked to find himself back in Sooga Village. Before too long, he saw Pucca. Happily, he ran towards her, however he was horrified to see her kissing another man. He clutched his heart and tears wield in his eyes. Then Pucca smiled evilly at him.

"After all the running away and crap, you honestly think I'm still in love with you? I HATE YOU GARU!! I HATE YOU!!"

Garu shook his head slowly as she repeated the words. Before too long he felt like he was sinking with only her words getting louder and louder.

Garu shot up and panted. What a horrible dream. He couldn't help but quietly sob as he curled up with his face in his knees. Why did he run so much? Maybe if he didn't run away so much, she would've gave him another chance. However, it was too late. He couldn't go back, especially now.

Just then, a rustle in the branches from trees were heard. Garu turned around, he couldn't see anything. Then he heard another rustle. He narrowed his eyes to the trees. "I'm not alone here." he thought and slowly pulled out his sword.

Just then, a ninja wearing majority black and blue appeared and lunged at Garu. Garu quickly dodged the attack. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU HERE!?" the ninja angrily spat. Garu was confused and signed. "I'm Garu and why are you attacking me?". However, the ninja only looked at him with anger and confusion. "I don't know what you're doing, but you're trespassing! Go back to where you came from!" he demanded. Then he charged at Garu. The ninja had deep green eyes, black hair, and a scar on his face. The two ninjas fought in the dark forest. Then, the mysterious ninja slammed Garu to the ground. Garu let out a groan in pain as he was slowly approached by the ninja who was clutching his arm.

"You're pretty quick. Heh, I underestimated you. But since you refuse to leave..." he stated and pulled out his sword and held it towards Garu's neck. Garu closed his eyes and accepted his fate. He dropped his sword by his side and stayed there motionless. "Do as you wish, I have nothing to live for." he told the man. Garu had officially broke his vow of silence. The man was shocked but was willing to do it.

"ENOUGH!!" a feminine voice yelled. Then another ninja leapt from a tree and got between the boys. It was a female ninja who wore black and a deep purple. Like the other ninja, she also had green eyes and black hair. She proceeded to slap the ninja on the back of his head. "How many times do I have to tell you that we're not supposed to be killing anyone?" she asked him. "Well it's not my fault, the kid was asking for it." the other ninja defended. She then turned and looked at Garu closely. Then she gasped as he reopened his eyes. The boy saw his eyes too and also gasped. "It's not possible..." the black and blue ninja muttered. He pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it. The ninjas looked at the paper then back at Garu. "It is him." the other ninja gasped.

"G-Garu?" they both asked. He looked up at them confused. "How do you know my name? Who are you?" he asked. The female ninja got on her knees and held his cheek. "You're alive..." she mumbled as her eyes wield up with tears like the other ninja. The male ninja handed him the paper. It was a picture. Two adults, two young children, and a baby were seen looking at the camera. Garu gasped quietly and slowly looked up at them. "I am Hope." the female ninja said. "And I am Noble." the male ninja added. "You're our missing brother." they both said. Garu gasped loudly and passed out due to shock. What was happening???
