Chapter Twenty Seven

Meanwhile, Garu, Abyo, and Noble were discussing plans to get inside the temple. "And then kaboom! We enter and get our village back!" Abyo exclaimed and then ripped off his shirt. Noble looked at him in confusion. "That's your fifth shirt today, what is wrong with you?" he asked. Abyo shrugged. "Eh, I have issues."

Noble sighed. "Then as soon as the village is saved, we're going home. Right Garu?" he stated, looking at Garu. In return, Garu stared back at him. Abyo sat up. "Woah, woah, woah. He's not leaving Sooga. This is his home." Abyo argued. "No, his home is with his family." Noble replied. The two began to argue with each other. Garu sighed and silently slipped away.

At first he wanted to stay, but the thought of him finally being reunited with his parents and siblings he never knew he had. He needed some time to think about it. At one hand, he didn't have much time getting to know his family and growing a bond with them. On the other hand, he didn't have the heart to leave his everyone in Sooga, especially Pucca. He thought he should meditate on it.

Pucca was on the roof of Goh Rong. She was thinking about the conversation she had with Garu yesterday. The thought of him leaving her scared her.As much as she wanted him to stay, she wanted him to be happy more than anything. And being with his family makes him happy, then he should stay with them.

"Um...are you okay?" Pucca gasped and turned around. It was Hope. "Oh...hi." Pucca greeted her quietly. Hope sighed and sat next to her. "Listen, I'm sorry I wasn't very nice to you before. But when I saw what happened to him, I-" "No, it's alright. To be honest, I'd react the same way." Pucca replied. The two chuckled quietly. "Listen, tell Garu that I think he should go home with you." "What?" "He's your family. And to be honest, I've never seen him so happy than with you guys." Pucca explained.

Hope shook her head. "He wouldn't be happy without you. When I first heard about you, I wanted to hire someone to kill you."  she admitted. "WHAT??" "However, I also know how much he loves you and do anything for you. And he told me that you were prepared to sacrifice yourself for him, multiple times. To be honest, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been reunited, so thank you." she continued. Pucca smiled at her. "I'd do anything for him." she told her. Hope smiled back.

"My siblings and parents will understand if he wants to stay, but he has to be because he wants to. And I'm glad he found you." Hope told Pucca. "So am I." Pucca said and got up to go back inside. "Oh, one more thing." Hope said. Pucca turned to her. "Yes?" she asked. Hope came close to Pucca's ear. "If I ever find out you have hurt him again, I'm going to strangle you." she whispered. Hope then went back inside and left Pucca standing there flabbergasted. She shook it off but went back inside.

Our heroes were preparing for the greatest battle of their lives. However, there was a great obstacle in their way that would determine their victory or defeat.
