A Missing Ninja

Chapter Sixteen

Yeobo was currently in her bakery, making pastries to sell. She kept sighing to herself, thinking all day about Garu. His deep, dark mysterious eyes. How she yearned to learn everything about him. His silky long black hair, how she wanted to run her fingers through it. Most importantly, how she loved his voice and his smile. She thought it was the cutest thing ever.

"Excuse me!" a gruff and raspy voice interrupted her daydream. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts and gave an apologetic smile. "I'm so sorry sir, how may I be of assistance?" she asked and was answered with a picture in her face. As it turned out, the person was Abyo. "Have you seen this guy? His name is Garu, he's a ninja, doesn't talk much?" he asked her. Yeobo was surprised at the specifics, but she nodded. "Yes, he lives here. May I show you where he lives?" she asked. Abyo cheered at her answer and pulled her outside.

He called for the others. "What is it Abyo?" Ching asked him. "She knows where Garu is! She knows where Garu is!" he exclaimed. The group quickly surrounded Yeobo pondering her with questions. "Is he okay?" "When did he get here?" Did he leave?" However, Yeobo politely answered them all.

"Yes, he's fine." "He arrived weeks ago." "No, he's in his home with his family." "FAMILY?!" the group exclaimed. They were shocked, Garu never told them he had a family. "Yes, he reunited with his family prior to arriving here. Are you all friends of his? I'd be happy to show you where he lives." she told them. "Yes! Please, that would be great!" Pucca said, rather loudly. Yeobo nodded and they followed her. Ring Ring narrowed her eyes at Yeobo. "So...how do you know Garu?" she asked with a snide tone. Yeobo let out a little giggle. "Oh, he caught a bandit who stole my necklace and returned it to me. He's so kind." she said and let out a blush, a very noticeable blush. Ring Ring and Pucca looked at each other as Yeobo let out a happy sigh. "So, what about you all? Are you Garu's friends?" she asked. Abyo, Ching, and Ayo nodded. "I'm Ring Ring, Garu and I are VERY VERY close." Ring Ring said with a grimace. Tobe rolled his eyes. "We're...acquaintances." Tobe said. "Garu and I are..."Pucca said and she fell silent. She didn't even know how Garu felt about her now. "We're here, I'll just tell them that you want to see him." Yeobo said and knocked on the door. "Ching...I'm scared." Pucca whispered to her friend. "Why Pucca?" Ching whispered back. "Well, this girl seems to be a bit TOO nice with Garu. Also, what if he doesn't want to see me.". "If I know Garu, which I do, he'll forgive you Pucca." Abyo stated. Pucca smiled, she was glad to have her friends by her side.

"Aww...it didn't work." Melody groaned. Garu chuckled. "Don't think too much. Just..you know..do it." he told his younger sister. Melody nodded and tried to do the illusion. She kept trying until her face turned blue, until two versions of her appeared by her side. She cheered. "I DID IT GARU!!" Garu clapped his hands. "Yeah! Good job..OH!" he exclaimed when Melody hugged him. "Garu?" Hope said entering the room. "Yeah Hope?" "There's a group of people here that claim to be your friends?" she said. Garu's eyes widened. Why would anyone come looking for him? Unless...

He and his siblings walked to the front. Garu's blood ran cold when he saw Abyo, Ayo, Ching, Ring Ring, Tobe, and Pucca with Yeobo. "GARU!!!" they all exclaimed, well everyone except Abyo, who looked closely at him. "Are you SURE? I mean Garu wears pigtails." he said. Garu rolled his eyes and pulled his ponytail down and put up his original hairstyle. Abyo smiled and tackled him. "GARU!! YOU'RE OKAY!!" he said hugging his friend tightly. "Get. Off. Me!" Garu gasped. Everyone gasped. "Y-You're talking..." Ching muttered. "Yeah, it happened after..." Garu said and he and Pucca made eye contact, which was quickly avoided.

"WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!" Blaze exclaimed. Garu sighed. "Everyone, this is Noble, Hope, Melody, and Blaze. My brothers and sisters. Siblings, these are my friends (sort of) Ching, Abyo, Ayo, Tobe, Ring Ring, and...Pucca." he introduced them to each other. "How come you didn't tell us you had a family?" Ching asked. "They found me when I was on my journey. I was kidnapped as a baby, but now I'm finally with them." he said. "Garu we need to go..." Pucca quietly said. "Yeah, we're here to bring you home Garu." Tobe said. "What?"
