"Y/N! Y/N! Wake up! It's time!" Maki exclaimed, and it was late at night, but I knew what she meant.

I couldn't leave the house for days, and I was expecting to be woken up in the middle of the night at some point. Though it was still a very big surprise!

"O-oh my god Maki! Let's get out of here!" I exclaimed rushing to the door, but I realized Maki was so weak I had to carry her to the car.

"AAAAAA! Get me out of here and to the hospital now!" Maki screamed, and I started to drive off to the hospital.

I had to race around tons of cars, and I may have run a red light or two... However, everyone knows I am married and Maki is pregnant. The police were on my tail, but it seemed like they were just watching me for our safety. That is when I made it to the hospital and I saw lots of my clients at the front doors ready to help us into the hospital.

Even though she was screaming in utter pain Maki was staying strong, and even in the delivery room, she stayed strong. She may have killed many people, but this time she was bringing life into the world. Not taking life out.

As she pushed the baby out Maki had never gone through a greater pain before. It hurt more than the years she lived at the orphanage, it hurt more than the pain all her victims went through, and it was worse pain than the time I almost lost her completely.

But she pushed through, and that is when you were brought into this world, Melissa. It wasn't the easiest path, but... We made it and you were brought into our family. You were our little angel, and to this day you still are.

I thanked everyone and everything in the universe for letting me have this life with Maki down to every single particle that helped me on my road to meeting Maki. Even the dark moments made their way to the light, and without those experiences, everything may not have been the same.

"Kids that is the story of how I met your mother. I never regretted anything, and I hope one day you have a story as great as ours..." I ended my story, and both of the kids were amazed.

That all happened fifteen years ago, but still... Every day I spend with Maki feels like my first. She has never changed since the day I met her... Minus the trust, we grew for one another which I never took for granted since day one.

"That was an amazing story... I never thought it was that marvelous..." Melissa stated while she was wiping the tears of her cheeks.

"I'm sorry I thought you were trying to punish us for something. I felt like my breath was taken away by that story..." Kassie said, and while we were all crying happy tears we heard footsteps coming.

Maki was home.

"Mom!"

The girls rushed to Maki, and she was captured in a trap of hugs. I joined them, and I felt I still felt like I was embracing Maki for the first time. This feeling will never go away, and I know that we will be together forever.

"I love you all so much!"
