I didn't even think she was going to be thirty. To me it didn't look like she aged a bit. When we met she was only twenty-two and we were two different people back in the day.

I can say things have changed but have they? I mean I was still one of the most wanted lawyers in the country, and other then my age and family life everything was the same. I was entering my thirties, but I still felt pretty young.

Melissa was six and in kindergarten, and she was a very intelligent little girl. She always valued her work, and I could tell she was going to have a promising life.

The past seven years were easy to get through. However tonight was going to change the course of me and Maki's relationship due to the fact a few familiar faces were racing back into her life.

One night Maki got a call before bed, and it changed everything.

"And I was like. Michelle are you r-"

That is when Maki got the phone call.

"Hello? Who is this?" Maki asked with a stern tone of voice.

Usually when Maki responded like that she probably got a phone call from an unknown number or a scammer, so I wasn't expecting much.

However that is when the look on Maki's face went from annoyance to a relieved look on her face to a overwhelmed and emotion expression.

"I- I- I don't understand!? How are you- how are you alive?!" Maki exclaimed in bewilderment, and that was the start of a venture I was never wanted to go on in the first place.

"I- I love you too!" Maki shouted into the phone, and that is when I realized who might be on the other side of the call.

"I'll be there as soon as possible!" Maki concluded and she hung up on the other line.

I really couldn't understand the look on my wife of almost eight year's face. She seemed very excited and optimistic on the return of him, but she knew that I was the person who originally made Maki lose the love for him. But...

"Y/N... You won't believe who was on the o-other line!" Maki erupted in surprise, but once Maki said I love you I knew exactly was on the other line.

It had to be Kaito.
