The city was quiet as usual, and with Spider-Man patrolling without Yelenah, it was even quieter. Peter knew that Yelenah messed up. It was the whole reason why he was upset with her.
But why? Why did he feel like he was missing something. Like there was a piece to the puzzle that he couldn't place in his head.
"Spider Man, status update " fury roared in his head snapping him back to reality.
"ah.. Ah.. City seems clear sir.  Just bagged a few dirt bags in an alley but other than that.. Nothng" Spider Man reported.
"OK come back to base for filing " fury commanded. His voice sounding at ease this time.
Spider Man did like wise, jumping and swinging on some buildings that led him into base.
"anything new since I left patrol" Spider Man asked fury.

"nothing

"nothing.. No intail,no lead, no link of any kind what so ever. It's like she disappeared " fury responded lowly.
"what the hell did you say to her kid? " he finished. Peter felt into his pocket, pulling out the necklace that she threw back to him the day she left.  Fury's question was difficult to answer. He had no way of absolutely putting the words out.
"a lot " he sighed.
"OK.. It's not really my job to get into the personal life of my shield agents but kid... What's going on " fury asked. "I don't know how.. But I  messed up" Peter responded truthfully.
"yes... " fury said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Nevertheless, he urged him to say more.
"but she killed her Fury.. That would have been me and she would have done the same thing. " Peter said
"precisely " Peter was surprised at fury's response. How could he even be okay with that.
"fury, I know that she was just following orders but.. " he tried to say but fury cut him off.
"wait.. Orders? Who said anything about orders. No she wasn't following any orders. " fury stated briefly. Even though that is something he would have told her to do in that case, but he  knew she wouldn't have obeyed regardless.
Fury pulled out a file on the computer. The file had  a video of security cams from the mission in Budapest.

"see that

"see that ...self defense 101"  he said to Peter pointing at the computer.
Judging by the look on his face, fury assumed Peter caught on to the point.
The young hero sat down in despair, holding his head as he took off his mask. But fury didn't storm as usual. He just sat next to him.
"I found the light fury... " Peter said finally, breaking the silence.
"the light that Tony would talk about... I  found her" he finished.  Fury knew what Peter meant because he was also one of the people closest to Tony.
"really... were is she " fury asked.
"she's.. She's not here. Not anymore " he responded sadly.
"oh OK.. Then what are you.. Doing here? " he asked.
Peter did not need to be told twice. He got up and  started for the entrance.
"Parker! " fury stormed.
"if you're gonna find her out there.. You better ask for some help. I  hear bruce banner is in town. " he said  tosing him the coordinates to his location.
Peter thanked fury and swang back into the streets of the city. He followed each coordinates without being spoted till finally he reached Bruce's house.
He didn't bother to knock. He just walked in and found Bruce working on the computer as usual.
"hey Spider-Man.. You know there's this thing called the door.. Yeah google it " Bruce said as he walked up to him
