**Kells POV**
12 PM

We were pulling up to the arena. I couldn't wait to see Luke. I haven't seen him for two weeks. My parents wanted me home for Thanksgiving since I'm moving this summer. Luke understood it just sucked. I was more pissed than he was about it, I swear he never gets mad. If he does he doesn't ever show it.

I got off the bus and didn't even say a word to anyone. I looked and looked and didn't see him. I went to the locker room and sat on the bench. Everyone followed and they were all talking. I got my phone out again. I couldn't believe I haven't heard from him or he wasn't out front like he said.

"Hey where's Luke?" Ava yelled across the locker room

"He got tied up with something." I said. Lying cause honestly I didn't know. I texted him again.

Me: Luke you better not be answering cause you are driving...seriously where are you...? I need to see you so bad, I need you here. If you stood me up Luke I swear to god we are over with.

I got dressed and went out and warmed up and everything. At the start of the game I scanned the crowd and didn't see him. I focused as much as I could on the game. I got 23 points but we still lost.

I heard some of the freshmen whispering about Luke. They were all little bitches. I stood up in the locker room.

"IF YOU LITTLE BITCHES HAVE A PROBLEM SAY IT OUT LOUD AND STOP WHISPERING. JUST BECAUSE MY BOYFRIEND WASNT FUCKING HERE FOR YOU GUYS TO DROOL OVER AND STARE AT ISNT ANY OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS. TRUST ME I'LL HAVE YALL BENCHED SO DAMN FAST OR WORST OFF THE TEAM! YOU GUYS ARE WORTHLESS ANYWAYS! IF YALL WERE AS GOOD AS YOU THINK YOU ARE WE WOULDVE FUCKING WON! I yelled. Coach walked in.

"Kelly." She said. I looked at her. " a little less profanity." She said.

"Sorry." I said.

"She's right Ava, Chelsea and Norma yall are close to being benched, pass the ball you guys lost that game trying to make those shots. Get your head in the game and stop worrying about stuff that isn't your life." She said. I got in the shower. Jay got into the one next to me.

"You good?" Is all she said.

"Not even close." I said.

We got onto the bus back to the hotel. It was silent. You could hear a pin drop. I was sitting in the second seat back since I was the captain I always sat by the coaches. My head coach turned around.

"What do you need? You have a very short fuse what's going on?" she asked me.

"I haven't heard from Luke..." I said.

"I'm sure he got caught up with something. He's busy." She said.

"No he promised he'd be here..." I said.

"Kelly I need you to be focused..."

"I promise you I'll be focused. I got the most points today! What else did you expect?!" I asked irritated.
