What If: Love in a College Town.

We were in the limo heading to the red carpet. Kelly was a nervous wreck. We got in this morning around 1130 and then went straight to the hotel for make up, hair, nails, all that stuff. She looked absolutely amazing. She always does but she had on this white and black dress. The way it fit her body, was just perfection. I reached over and held her hand.

"If this is to much, we don't have to go." I said.

"I'll be okay. I promise." She said.

"If you get to nervous or scared just look right at me. Don't look at anyone else. I will make it all better I promise." I said to her. I leaned over and kissed her.

"I will tell you one thing, I can not wait to cuddle tonight." I said to her. She smiled.

"I can't wait either." She said. She laid her head on my shoulder gently.

When we pulled up to the carpet the car stopped.

"You ready? Remember you don't have to answer every question, you can just smile too. If they ask how and when we met you know, if they asked when we started dating you know, I'm sure they'll ask if you met the boys. Anything personal you can say no comment or anything you don't want to answer say no comment or just smile. I'll be right there. We will get pictures, just look the way they say. I'll probably get some by myself hell they may get you by yourself. I'm sure they'll ask what designer you're wearing." I said to her. She took a deep breath.

"I'm good I got this." She said. I smiled.

"Remember, just look at me." I said. I knocked on the window to let them know we were ready. The driver opened the door. I got out. I put my hand out for Kells. She got out. Cameras were going crazy. We linked arms. I put my lips on the side of her head.

"Let's go." I whispered to her.

We started walking, my name was being yelled. I even heard a few people say hers.

"Luke what will you be performing tonight?!" Someone asked.

"Rollercoaster!" I said.

"Luke how are the boys?!" Another asked.

"Growing like weeds." I replied.

"Luke how's Caroline feel about you dating someone half your age." Someone said. I just smiled and kept walking.

"You good?" I whispered to her.

"Yeah.." she said. I stopped walking. I turned her to me. I had both her hands now.

"Breathe in and out slowly. Look right here at me. You are good. Brittany and Jason are a few ahead of us. We will catch up to them and Brittany can calm your nerves a little more, she's been in your position." I said to her

"Looking at you definitely helps." She said. She took another deep breath.

"Let's go" she said. We finally made it over to Jason and Brittany. Jason and I started messing around just to be funny. I saw Britt hug Kells. I gave Jason a hug and told him thanks quietly.
