What If: Love in a College Town.

Graduation

May 14th
**Kellys POV**

It was graduate day. Luke and I have been together every day since that horrible weekend. The only time we were apart was when I was in classes but I was with Matthew. We've went to Nashville and got the boys the past 3 Fridays and had some family time. I finally didn't freak out every 5 seconds. I still woke up every night in a lather of sweat here at home, but not when we went to Nashville.

Luke had his producers and band came to Philadelphia he found a studio to rent so his album was almost done. He was releasing his first single for it tomorrow and I couldn't wait it was amazing. He drives 5 hours a day and works 6 hours in the studio. Yesterday was his last day.

Dad sold the house here, closing is the end of next month to give the girls time to pack everything. I already had all my stuff packed. I shipped most of it to Nashville and we dealt with that last weekend.  All the other stuff my dad and mom came and got earlier this week. We were staying at my house tonight and having a party and then going to my parents tomorrow and Saturday night. Saturday was my graduation party, and then Sunday we leave for vacation I couldn't wait.

I was in my bathroom curling my hair. I had on a white dress and I was going to wear black heels.

" yes yes of course." I heard Luke randomly say as he came back into my room.

"7am that's early bud but I think I can make it work. I have another interview at 9 then I think one at 1030, and then Saturday I have one at 8 and 11 in the morning so I think tomorrow is the only day I can squeeze you in ." He said.

He walked out of the room again I had no idea what he was saying. I heard the door bell.

"I got it!" He yelled. Sarah was here and so was Lindsey but they were also getting ready. Sarah wasn't graduating this year she was a junior. She was pretty upset I jumped a year. I heard Luke again.

"Who was it?" I yelled out I had the door cracked.

"Nikos parents." He said. "I'm going to go back down. I'll use the bathroom when you're done." He said.

"Luke you can come in." I said to him. He's been weird the past 2 days. Stand offish. I feel like it's because we still haven't had sex I always chicken out.

"It's small, we always hit each other I'm okay." He said.

"Luke stay please."

I opened the door. He was standing there. He took a deep breath.

"Kelly I'm trying to control myself... please I just need a few to gather my thoughts you in that dress I just...I can't right now okay... I have stuff I have to focus on." he said. I knew it.

"Then we will just do it Luke..." I said to him.

"No. No way. It's okay just finish okay. I love you." He said kissing my head and leaving. I wanted to cry. I texted Matthew.

Me: I need you 😭

Matthew: what's wrong? Your graduating! You should be excited!
