Saturday March 21st

We were almost to Kells parents house. She had her playoff game today and they won and we're going to the final round of play offs. I couldn't make it next weekend and we both were devastated. I held her hand the whole way. She had fallen asleep about an hour ago. It was going on 930 by the time we pulled in. Her parents had already made it back but we had to run back to her place before we came. I parked her car in the drive way. I got out and stretched. I went around and opened her door and reached over her to unbuckle her. I kissed her cheek.

"Hey beautiful we are at your parents house." I whispered in her ear. She groaned. I picked her up and was carrying her up the steps when he dad came out. He laughed.

"Just lay her on the couch." He said. I went in and laid her down. I went out and he was grabbing bags out of the back.

"Sir I can get those." I said.

"Let me help at least. How was the drive?" He asked.

"Not to bad, for some rain going through the
Mountains."

" how long ago did she fall asleep?"

"A little over an hour." I said. He looked shocked.

"Something wrong?" I asked.

"Oh no nothing. It's just she refuses to fall asleep in the car since Niko died... she dozes off and freaks out and wakes back up." He said.

"Even with you and Mrs. Hall?"

"Yes..." he said he seemed upset.

"Sir I'm sorry..."

"Oh Luke don't be. I'm just glad my daughter finally found her comfort. Ya know she use to be terrified of flying then that happened to Niko and she rather fly now."

"I can't even imagine what she went through and you guys too."

"It was a rough time." He said we went and walked into the house. He helped take our bags to her rooms. We went back downstairs. She was still asleep. I followed him to the kitchen. Her mom had a glass of wine.

"Luke you need a snack? Drink?" She asked getting up.

"Oh just a bottle of water is fine." I said. I still felt weird drinking in front of them. Her dad opened the fridge and handed me a Miller lite.

"Luke it's not like you're under age we know you drink it's okay. We also know you're responsible. I'm sure you could use one after spending a little over a week with her friends." He said I laughed.

"One won't hurt." I said. He took it back and opened it for me. I stood there at the island.

"Has she decided yet?" Her mom asked.

"No..." I said sighing.

"It's a little frustrating I'm sure." Her dad said.

"I just need to know what we are doing house wise. I mean I have to finish building this one but if I need to build one in Georgia then I rather start sooner than later.." I said.
