"There's no way in hell I got that drunk last night I ended up in the hospital." He said. He looked more.

"Dr. And Mrs Hall? What are y'all doing here?" He asked. He looked at me crying.

"Darling what's wrong??" He asked me. My heart was broken but at this same time him not remembering was a relief. He moved but winced.

"What the fuck?" He said looking down. I could see the fear in his eyes.

"Luke it's been 5 days since that concert do you really remember nothing?" Carter asked him.

"No... Kelly why aren't you in school?"

"Luke... you... you, I'm so sorry." I said getting up and running out. Carter was out there in a second.

"Kelly it's okay. He's okay."

"He's not though Carter." I said wrapping my arms around him hugging him tight. I cried into his chest for a couple minutes. I finally calmed down some.

"Let's go back in okay." He said. I went in. He was laying there just staring at my dad. He looked at me when my dad did.

"Come here beautiful." He said reaching his arm out. His voice was hoarse. I went over. I sat in the chair.

"No put this damn side rail down and come cuddle and kiss me." He said.

"Stop your hurt." I said.

"It'll be painful you sitting there and me not holding you." He said I leaned over and laid my lips on his. God did that feel good. I pulled away. He smiled. I started crying.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I just never thought I'd see you smile again." I said as I played with his hair.

"You're going to see this smile for a long ass time." He said smiling even bigger. He readjusted himself.

"Can you move your legs?" I asked him. He looked at me and looked terrified.

"Uhm I don't know, now I'm afraid to try...." He said. He looked at my dad.

"If you do move your right one, you had surgery on the left one... but don't rush it's okay." My dad said to him. He looked at me. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He picked his leg up. I started crying. He opened his eyes.

"See nothing is going to stop me." He said. God did I love him.

"Wait... what's the date?" He asked.

"September 17th why?" I asked him as I wiped my tears away.

"Did you make the final payments on the venue? Caterer? DJ?" He asked me. "They were due on the 15th." He said I froze I didn't.

"I didn't but Luke... I think we need to postpone the wedding." I said.

"Are you fucking kidding me no way!" He said raising his voice. Which shocked me.
