You sigh as you fixed your necktie in front of the mirror, fixing your hair as you look directly at your reflection. You sniff, feeling like not going to school today, but you can't since you're in the student council.

His words from yesterday played like a broken record inside your head, and every time you hear it, the more it breaks your heart.

Should you give it a rest?

It seems like your heart can't take it.

Yeah, never mind it. It's not like it's gonna affect you greatly. You can move on from it. Move on from his words with a smile.

But should you give it a shot? Try and see if he falls for your actions? No, that seems a bit obsessive and manipulative, Is it not?

You guessed that you should just act normal, and treat him like you did before.

What did you even do before you confessed?

Oh yeah,

Firstly, you greet him every morning right after going to class, and at lunch, you always bring him his favorite drink, which is milk(since he can't buy it at the cafeteria since there are a lot of students), and mostly always bid him goodbye before going home.

Yeah, you think you can continue doing those. It's not like you guys are strangers, after all, he became your friend.

It's not like one confession could change your friendly relationship with him.

Just don't act awkward so that things wouldn't be too awkward for the both of you.

Yeah yeah, you can do this (Y/n).

"Good morning, secretary," Ritsu greeted you with a smile as he walked beside you.

You smiled at him and nodded your head, "Morning to you too, Kageyama-kun," you said.

Ritsu chuckled, "Please, just call me by my name, we're not acquaintances anymore," he said as he gives you a small smile.

You nodded, "Alright, Ritsu," you said.

Yes, you have grown close with Shigeo's little brother, but that's because the two of you are in the student council.

Hopefully Shigeo is not chatty enough to let his little brother know that he rejected you yesterday.

You and Ritsu had change into your school shoes, you bid goodbye to Ritsu as he nodded and went to the opposite side of the building to head to his classroom.

As you walked towards your own classroom, your head wonders up above the clouds as you remember what happened yesterday. You cringe at the memory, though you felt a pang on your chest.
