Dinner.

It wasn't as Japanese as it should.

Everyone was served food, and Reigen was still wondering when they were going to serve the chopsticks.

"Where're the chopsticks, Yui?" Reigen whispered to his older sister.

"Idiot. Use the utensils. The old man can't use chopsticks anymore," She said as she continued to eat the curry rice on her plate.

"Am I the old man? I want to use the chopsticks," He said as he huffed.

"Do you want me to shove that shit inside your mouth? Better start eating before I let Yurio eat your food," She said as she gives him a glare.

Reigen immediately pursed his lips as he grabbed the spoon and fork beside the plate.

The man was so culture shock.

The old man was Japanese yet the dinner table looked as western as it is. It's crazy. Look at the ham! The freaking beef steak, burgers, and even the smashed potatoes! Hell, there's even a king crab. Seriously, how rich is this old man?

Reigen asked himself.

The entire dinner was quiet. None dare to ask what's going on in their life.

The kids were quiet too.

And (Y/n) kept spacing out. Maybe because of what happened earlier with Shigeo. The boy just confessed that he also loves her, but her dumbass said she needed time— it makes sense because Shigeo rejected her, right?

Yeah, yeah, it makes sense.

And (Y/n) was hoping that Shigeo would live up to his words that he'll wait for her.

She's sure that it's not gonna take a lot of time.

Right, (Y/n)?

"(Y/n)-chan~ how's school?" Michijo(Grandfather) asked the girl.

She seemed to have snapped out of her thoughts as she unconsciously stabbed the wagyu beef with her fork.

"Oh! Fine," She replied shortly as she gives her grandfather a smile.

"How're the grades?" He asked once again.
