[°] Vancouver, Canada [ 8: 56 AM. ]

What happened?

Well, Time surely does fly fast.

It's already been a year since you lived here in Canada.

And some things were settled.

The month you left for Canada was a bit depressing for you. It took Shigeo a day or two to contact you or even try to reach out to you.

You wanted to desperately go back to Japan when he explained everything.

The catastrophe, mess, and danger that had happened on that specific day you left Japan.

He admits that it was all because of him.

"I'm sorry..." Shigeo quietly said as he looked away from the camera. Both of you were having a conversation through video call, and the two of you decided to talk some things out.

After all, you did feel that something was missing.

"Why?" You asked.

"I didn't... get to say goodbye to you," He said, still not looking at the camera.

"You know, I was angry and sad at that time. But, I was worried that something might have happened to you. And guess what, my hunch was right, something DID happen to you," You said as you smiled to yourself.

"Shigeo, I was about to tell you that I'm allowing you to be my boyfriend," You quietly said with a soft smile.

This caught the boy's attention and he looked at the screen to see you smiling at him. His face was red and his heart was hammering against his chest.

"H-Huh...?"

"Hehe, yeah... I was planning on telling it to you personally, but I guess it didn't happen," You said as you display a sad smile.

There was silence between the two of you throughout the call. Shigeo was staring directly at his screen, staring at your face. It feels surreal and odd.

He's not used to seeing your face through a screen.

And he somehow already missed the feeling of personally seeing your smile.
