The incident on the big tree died so fast. After being played on the news that the supposed 'divine tree' was floating amidst the sky, it became a big talk, not until 4 days later.

But because of that, Shigeo seemed to go back to his old usual self.

And... It worries you.

"Come on, (Y/n), don't overthink too much! Maybe... Shigeo needs some time for himself! You can't just hog his time for himself! A dude like him that's used being alone will for sure find peace by being alone. Man's an introvert," He said as he began to munch down the beef jerky that his grandparents bought for him.

"I know... It's just—" before you can even further talk, Mizuki slapped you with the beef jerky he has in his hand.

"SHUSH! respect Shigeo's introverted time, (Y/n)! It's not like the two of you are together," Mizuki said as he smirked.

You blushed in embarrassment and anger as you slap his shoulder.

"Shut it!" You shouted as you pinched Mizuki's cheeks in annoyance.

"OW! STOP STOP STOP!" Mizuki cried out in pain as you let go of his cheeks. Rubbing it gently, he decided to eat the rest of his beef jerky in silence.

You huffed as you leaned against your chair. It was currently break time, and you decided to just chill inside of your classroom.

But still, your mind still wanders back to Shigeo. Wondering if he's okay. You're worried about him, and you wanted to console him about the thing he's bothered about.

Though, you decided to follow Mizuki's advice.

Maybe Shigeo does indeed need time for himself.

You sigh unconsciously.

"Aya, don't worry too much about Shigeo, (Y/n). He'll be fine. He's a strong guy," Mizuki said.

You looked at him and see him with a gentle smile. The first time you have even seen that smile in a very long time.

"Give the dude some time. Whatever it is that's bothering him, I'm sure he's going to tell you once he's ready. But, for now, time for himself is all he needs." Mizuki said as he stared at his beef jerky.

You smiled at him, "Didn't expect you to be this genuine, Mizu," You said as you chuckled.

"It comes out once every blue moon," He said as he ate the last of the beef jerky at the package.
