Chapter Seventeen

Chapter 17 - Stranger in the Alley.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen please welcome the twisting twins!"

The vibrating in Storms pocket had started to annoy her. She had been ignoring Roxies messages and calls. She wanted to have fun for once and not worry about anything. She dug into her pocket and scanned the message quickly.

"If you don't hurry up Storm your boyfriend and his pals could end up dead"

The message sent chills down Storms spine. Shoving it back to her pocket she looked over at Daniel and Una who where so entranced in the twisting twins performance. She quickly got up from her seat and began to make her way out of the crowded circus. Time to get ready for work.

Warrior looked around the empty street wondering if she had gotten the location wrong. She looked down at her phone again to conform her location. She was in the right place where everyone needed her help hut nobody was around.

Storm stoked out the area finding it unusual that the street was so quiet.

Finding the quiet odd she listened carefully to the quiet street. That was until the sudden vibration under her feet. She stopped walking around and looked to the ground. The vibration came again but this time footsteps came with it. Storm froze as she could hear with her vampire hearing the rough exhalation of air come from something. Slowly she looked up at the shop window infront of her. She could see the reflection clearly of the gap in the alley that showed something large standing in the darkness. Storm could make out the inhumane shape of the strange creature. Unsure of what to do Storm continued to stare at the reflection on the shop window.

"Run!!"

Storm looked for Roxie's voice as she quickly turned around the sound of a growl. Roxie ran towards her and grabbed her arm. Panic and fear had filled Roxie's face. It looked so strange and foreign on the hard cold face that Storm was used to. The sudden change in Roxie's behavior and the fierce roar from the alley made Storm feel a feeling she couldn't remember having since childhood. Fear.

A/N: I know its short but I want to make a deal.. I have three chapters written up already. I'm going to post them. But only if I get 43 votes on this chapter. Seriously guys.. I'm not joking. If I get 43 votes I will be so happy. It really would make up for the worst day I've had today. It would make up for waking up to gel in my hair. Really, I had to go to school with gel in my hair.. yeah.. not nice.. so TELL EVERYBODY!! I can't stress this enough. It doesn't have to be on this chapter.
