Chapter 19

Storm sat in her cell whistling to herself. It seemed to relieve her of her boredom for a little while. Storm couldn't believe they locked her up in a special equipped cell just to calm down. She tried not to think of Roxie and how she looked when the medical team took her away. She wasn't going to heal as fast as Storm would. She tried her best not to look at the camera. She wondered how many where watching her? Asking themselves what to do about it. Dick would be furious. Not with the league. With her. Because she nearly killed Superboy after he stopped her from saving her sister.

A slight buzzing was heard as the door to Storm's cell began to slide back slowly. She closed her eyes and supported her head with her knees.

She didn't want to know.

"Warrior, is it true?"

Superboy? He came to visit after she nearly killed him? He walked into the room and to the camera. Storm heard the sound of crunching metal but still didn't look up. He walked towards her and sat beside her on the bed. She had half her body leaning against the wall while he sat with his back to the wall.

"Which part?" She asked without opening her eyes.

"The one where your helping the light"

Storm opened her eyes to look at him. She glared at him, how did he know? What gave him the right to..

"The girl in ward. That's Roxanne O'Hare. How do you know her?"

Storm rested her head against the wall beside her. She couldn't meet Connor's gaze. After the Light had sent her that monster and it hurt Roxie, Storm knew she had no choice. She had to stay loyal to the light.

"How do you know her?" Superboy asked again anger filling his voice.

"I know her as an assassin. She's deadly and not afraid to fight"

"You and me both know thats not all you know" he said grabbing her bare arm hard.

Storm flinched at the sudden flush of new memories that filled her mind.

*Flash Back*

"Storm?" Connor called as he watched her staring at the broken glass on the floor. "You okay?"

Storm looked up, fear clear in her face.

"Yeah.. you?"

Connor watched as Storm picked up the shards of glass.

"I could be better" he said as he helped her pick up the shards.

"How?" Storm asked trying to forget what had happened to make her drop the glass.

"The vampire today.. I'm just thinking about what he said to you"

Storm stopped picking up the glass and stared down at it.

*Flashback*

"What's your problem?" He asked.

Storm continued to stare at him, unsure of how to respond.

"I was getting a drink" she said with fear still in her wide blue eyes.

"What you don't know how to work the tap?" He teased.

She looked down at her feet slightly embarrassed. Connor sighed knowing that she didn't. He walked up to the cupboard and took out a glass. Storm watched as he turned the strange nosle thing and water splashed out. He then turned the nosle thing again, this time in a different direction and the water stopped.

Superboy turned around and held the glass out to her. She reached out and took the glass before taking a great gulps of water.

"So you've seen a glass before but not a tap?"

*End of Flashback*

Connor sensed the girls discomfort. He needed her to feel threatened. She was hiding something from the Team and the League. He had to get it out of her. He stood up and paced the room trying to calm down. It worked the past six years didn't it?

"Who are you?!" He yelled not looking at her but at the door infront of him so that he didn't notice her hold her head from the dizzyness from the newly remembered memories of Connor. Of the vampire in the alley. Of the team.

"I need to Roxie" she whispered.

Connor turned to Storm. She didn't look very well. Like she was about to faint.

"I need Roxie" she said again, louder this time.

"What are you to Roxanne O'Hare?!" He growled.

"She knows what's wrong with me! That's all!!" Storm screamed before trying to steady herself.

She felt weak, but she wasn't going to let that stop her from not seeing Roxie. Her vision began to blur as the room spinned faster. Connor wasn't quick enough to stop her from hitting the ground. He walked in shock as Warrior closed her eyes, still floating off the ground.

A/N: any good? I dunno.. maybe you should tell me? Are you feeling the Aster? Or the Dis?
