Chapter 53

Chapter 53.

As the light of the Zeta tube filled the Bat Cave, Warrior shut out the rush of memories and realised how empty it was. Where was Bruce? He hardly ever left the Cave unless his social life called for it.

"Where's Bruce?" She asked Nightwing as she turned to look at him.

Dick took off his domino mask to reveal those dark blue eyes that Storm loved.

"Go on up. I'll tell you everything over dinner. I told Alfred to expect us late" he said as he pulled off his gloves.

Warrior nodded before walking away and soon was walking into the dining room in the Wayne Manor, only noticing the two young heros already seated at the table still in their outfits without the masks.

Taking hers off she smiled at the two as she sat across from them. It was then that she had no idea what they're names were other than Batgirl and Robin.

"What are you doing here?" Robin asked as he watched her, something else on his mind instead of his dinner.

It was sort of clear to Storm why they had been there. They were Batman's young trainees. Batgirl and Robin duh.

"Hello..?" Batgirl asked as she waved at Storm.

It was then that Storm remembered Robin had asked her a question.

"Oh sorry I was.. stuck in deep thought. Eh what was your question again?"

"We asked what you were doing here?" Batgirl said. "Shouldn't you be at home?"

"Dick invited me over. Apparently we need to talk" Storm said as Alfred walked into the room.

"Good Evening Mistress Storm. Its lovely to see you again" he said as he put a plate full of roast chicken, potato, mashed potato, gravy, stuffing and yorksire puddings.

"And you Alfred" Storm smiled at him before looking down at the plate full of food.

Storm hadn't realised how hungry she was. Maybe she should eat a lot more seeing as she was going to have to eat for two now. While pouring a glass of water Dick walked in dressed still as Nightwing but without the gloves and domino mask.

"Oh Tim, Barbara I didn't know you guys stayed" Dick Said as he sat down beside Storm.

Storm practically kissed Dick right there. Tim and Barbara. She really had to get to know the others.

"Well we could go now if.." Tim stopped and rubbed his shin.

Seems like someone wants to stay.

"Not unless you want to" Dick shrugged.

Storm said nothing as she picked up her fork and knife as Alfred put another plate of food infront of Dick.

"So what's going on? You two are never together at the Manor" Barbara said as she watched Storm.

Storm looked up from her plate and looked up at Dick while chewing on her food. Dick looked to Storm and saw she was looking for an explanation too.

"Well why not? Its not like its Storms first time at the Manor. She used to live her with us when I was Robin"

Both Tim and Barbara looked to Storm who swallowed her food and nodded.

"So your moving back in?" Barbara asked while looking to Dick.

Storm thought it was time she spoke seeing as the damn conversation had turned to her.

"No. I've my own place. I dont think I'll ever move in again"
