Chapter 22

"Hey!! Hey!!" Storm yelled as she caught up with him in the hallway.

He didn't stop. He kept walking, annoyed she hadn't let him walk away.

"Nightwing if you don't.." Storm began only to be interrupted by a strong hand grab her shoulder, forcing her to skid to a stop.

Storm looked up at Connor who looked down at her. The pressure on her shoulder told her to stop, to let him brood. Storm sighed and turned to watch Nightwing go.

"He'll calm down soon"

Storm looked back up to Connor's smile.

"You have no idea how much we all missed you"

Storm laughed and smiled back before letting Connor pull her into a hug.

"It's nice to see you too" Storm whispered as they pulled apart.

"Come on, the others want to talk to you" Connor wrapped a strong arm around her shoulder and together the two walked forward to leave the watch tower and go back to the Mount.

To say that Storm was nervous about going to the team was an understatement. She was worried at how they would react. Nightwing hadn't taken it well, Connor had taken it so smoothly how will the others react?

"The original team was made up of me, you, Nightwing, Wally and M'gann. Shortly after you left Artemis joined us, followed by Zatanna and others" Connor explained as the back doors to the Mount opened allowing the ship to come into the mount.

Storm knew M'gann was Miss Martian. She couldn't remember her being on a team with her, along with this Wally.

"Who's Wally? There's no Wally on the team"

"Wally left the hero life with Artemis. He's studying Physics. I've told M'gann you were coming"

"I don't remember her from before"

"I didn't think so"

The door to the ship opened. Connor could feel the nerves coming from Storm.

"Your not shy again are you?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

Storm smiled weakly and shook her head. Connor shrugged and walked out of the ship.

"Welcome back Connor" she heard M'gann say.

Storm took a deep breath. She stared down at her domino mask and fixed it on before walking out of the ship. She didn't like the idea of everyone knowing.

M'gann, Connor, Lagoon Boy and a red head stood waiting for her. She smiled as she walked up to them. M'gann was the first to grab her and pull her into a hug.

"Is it true? Was everything that Connor said true? Your Storm?"

Warrior smiled and nodded.

"How could you not remember me Stormy?" The red head asked from where he stood beside Connor smirking.

Storm pulled herself free from M'gann and looked at the tall red head. His smirk wad contagious as it spread to Storm's lips.

"Your Wally?" She guessed as the red head grinned widely and through himself at her.

"It's good to see you Storm" he said as he rested his chin in her shoulder. "Now maybe Dick won't be as lonely" he whispered to her.

Storm tried to push the memory of Dick's abrupt leaving and tried to remember Wally. How had she remembered Dick and Connor? They had just touched her. Well Dick kissed her. And Connor grabbed her.

Wally pulled away and punched Storm playfully on the shoulder and that's how she fell the floor with more memories coming back to her.

*Flash Back*

"Bye Wally" She said as Wally hugged her tight.

"Can I have a goodbye kiss?" He asked smiling sadly.

"For that I'm giving you a high five" she said laughing slightly as she slapped his palm.

Wally pouted before watching her go. Storm walked up to Batman and smiled.

"I'll be looked after"
