"I already feel like I'm going to pass out and we haven't even done anything yet," Jake pouted.

We were sitting in the back of the SUV, getting ready to head to our next event. I had my arm around Jake, pulling him to me to let him lay his head on my shoulder. After the awkwardness of yesterday, it had felt good this morning to wake up with a fresh - though exhausted - start. Jake seemed happier than he had yesterday.

When I went to the practice room to meet him, he seemed glad to see me, but not very talkative. I just sat next to him, and we talked about nothing. It didn't feel forced, but it also didn't really feel like us.

He and I had been up since 3:30 this morning, leaving to rehearse for the radio show before we headed to Inkigayo for the pre-recorded portion before getting ready for the live interviews and performances.  There were a lot of idols that we were friends with at the show today, wandering around backstage. Some other events were going on in the building, so it was very different than a regular music show day.

Heading to our dressing room to get ready, I heard a couple of people calling for Jake. He stopped and went over to talk with them, so I went ahead and started toward the makeup chair. I could hear him laughing with one of the guys. I heard someone else start talking to him in very fast English. I heard him giggle. I looked up when I heard his voice getting closer to the dressing room.

Standing in the doorway with my boyfriend, a very, VERY flirty guy who I had never seen before gave Jake a big hug.

"I hope I get to see you around again soon," he said as he backed away.

"Me, too!" Jake gave him a big, bright smile.

"Heeseung, are you okay?" the makeup artist asked me.

"Huh?" I looked up at her "Yeah. Why?"

"Just your face just got really red, and I can't tell if I'm blending the color correctly. Are you feeling okay?"

I smiled, "Yeah, of course! I'm fine, I'm just super tired. Jake and I had to get up at 3:30 to go do the rehearsal for this radio show."

"Oh yeah! Jungwon was telling me about the show. With Taehyun and Beomgyu, right? Ugh...they're both so handsome," she smiled, "I'd love to meet them someday. Especially Beomgyu".

"Now who's turning red?" I laughed and the makeup artist laughed with me. I saw Jake looking toward us from the corner of my eye. Now he's paying attention to me, I guess.

"When we were at university, all of us were friends." I told the makeup artist, "Beomgyu and Sunoo were really close and used to co-write songs together. Whenever they would walk around campus together, I would call them an underrated visual combo. One of them on their own was handsome enough, but together..."

"OMG!" she exclaimed, "you're right. Oh, I bet they were so pretty walking around together. Which hair did they have?"

"Mostly Sunoo's was pink, and I think that Beomgyu's was longer. There was a point in time that it was silver, though. And you know how many hair colors our Sunoo has gone through."
