"It's been up for like two minutes, Jungwon," Sunghoon whined, "why do I have to take it down?"

"It's been up for like two minutes, Jungwon," Sunghoon whined, "why do I have to take it down?"

"Because if it gains 4000 likes per minute than we're going to have an actual tabloid issue on our hands. Namely that Park Sunghoon has lost his damn mind!"

"Um...now it actually has 20K likes..." Sunoo said quietly, flinching in anticipation of Jungwon's inevitable outburst.

Yet it didn't come. Jungwon looked over at me. "Jake, are you okay with this?"

"I am," I said, "because we never get to say a rumor is false and it isn't fair to me or Gyu".

Jungwon closed his eyes and massaged his temples. "But the thing is, if we give these things attention, it makes them worse."

"That's actually not true," Sunghoon said matter-of-factly. "That's the policy for our label, I guess?" Sunghoon looked thoughtful.

"It's...well I'm not sure there is a policy but at minimum we're supposed to run tweets by management."

"I would have posted it either way," Sunghoon said. "I don't believe ignoring something gives it less power. It makes it worse, actually. Jake should be able to control his own narrative."

"Oh? Ok, Mr. Publicist. Are you going to post about you and Sunoo next?"

"I would love to -"

"THAT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION!!!"

I watched helplessly while Jungwon and Sunghoon went back and forth.

Sunoo stood against the wall, phone in hand, watching the likes and retweets go up and up and up on Twitter. He looked as though he were making himself very small in hopes that neither his best friend nor his boyfriend would put him in the crossfire.

I couldn't help but wonder what Jungwon really thought about the hiding we all had to do - including he and Jay.

Only recently did he seem really panicked over it. I know that when we debuted the label wanted us all to look available and I get that. But after all this time?

I tried to catch Sunoo's eye but he wasn't budging. So, seeing no point in being there, I backed slowly out of the room.

Heading into the living room I saw Heeseung on the couch playing video games with Ni-Ki.

"I couldn't fall to sleep, in case you were wondering..." Ni-Ki said.

"I...um...wasn't?"

Heeseung laughed, "you weren't in here earlier. Ni-Ki had stormed off demanding to go back to bed and wake up to a do-over."

"Ahhh, I see," I said, sitting down on the couch diagonally from them.
