The rest of our time on Weekly Idol wasn't as much fun as the first part.  Sunoo was able to still effectively play to the cameras - as were Jungwon and Jay to a lesser extent. But I could see the hurt in Jake's eyes and honestly, I wanted to strangle someone.  Ni-Ki looked like he was going to come apart any minute, and Sunghoon had very much checked out. He looked like he was buffering.

To be fair, he looks like that a lot, so it's unlikely anyone noticed.

But I'm not great at hiding emotions.  I could feel my face redden and my jaw clench as the host teased Jake. What was he trying to do?

Unfortunately for the host, his actions didn't go over well with our team, either.  As soon as the hidden talent segment was over, our management told us to go ahead and grab our things to get packed up for the next show.

"But we have another segment to film!" One of the show's producers panicked as she ran toward our manager.

"Well, that's unfortunate. But he crossed a line. He knows he did. Look."

The small - and rather terrified looking - PA looked over at the hosts. One host was tearing into the other, who stared at us with smirk, ignoring his coworker.

She turned back to our team, "I'm very sorry. I can understand your frustration. Are you sure you won't reconsider? Our time slot won't be filled..."

I felt bad for her - I truly did. You could tell she was young and that she wanted to do well and impress her superiors. But even so....

I looked back over at the two hosts.  One was so visibly confused as to why the other was behaving in this way.

"I can't take this," I said, "Who does he think he is?"

"I know..." Sunghoon said, standing next to me. "Is he homophobic?  Is he jealous?  Like what's the deal?"

"Gross...what if he has a crush on Jake?" I asked Sunghoon, who also looked disgusted.

"Then he has a hell of a way of showing it," Sunghoon answered.

Grabbing our bags, we began to head out the door, confused as to what just happened, but ready to shake it off.

"What, you're leaving?!"

We turned around to see the insulting host smirking at us.  His cohost, head in his hand with embarrassment, walked away toward their production team.

"Sorry to keep it short!" our manager called out to him. "We've got a schedule to keep and you...have an agenda, it would seem."

He guided us from behind toward the door when we heard:

"Now, come on...it's not like that. I just need Jake to come and take a picture with me.  It'll be great for the show - me being linked up with such a huge star, even though I would never even think of actually being with a guy," he scrunched his nose in disgust, "but you do you.  I just wanna leave people guessing. And I guess that when it comes to romance, Jake's only into  - "
