*This chapter, in my opinion, is perceived as mature. If you are or become uncomfortable, feel free to skip. I'll do a recap of the highlight at the start of the next chapter. But please know I will NEVER go overboard or be inappropriate. They're just a normal couple, and this goes in line with the story of a normal couple.*

"You've been quiet the entire ride home. You haven't said anything at all," I said, eyes finally spilling the tears I wasn't allowed to show.

"Heeseung PLEASE say something! It isn't true what the tabloids say. You should know that more than anyone!"

I know I was being a little bit loud as I followed Heeseung through the halls of the dorm toward our bedroom. But I didn't really care. I had never seen him so angry? Hurt? Upset? I couldn't really tell. But whatever it was, it was my fault.

"Hee! Please talk to me!"

Heeseung walked into our bedroom, waited on me to walk in behind him, closed the door, and locked it. Turning to look at me, his expression gave away nothing as he waited for me to speak.

I took a deep breath. "Heeseung, I-"

In two steps Heeseung closed the distance between the two of us, putting one arm around my waist and back, scooping me up and pulling me close as his lips crashed into mine.

Slowing down and pulling slightly away, the kiss became more passionate. I felt his hand on the side of my face, fingers running through my hair, ending with his hand holding my face as he kissed me deeply.

I opened my eyes to look at him, planning to back away so I could look into his eyes, but his were closed tightly. He seemed to feel my plan to pull back and pulled me closer. I let myself melt into the kiss. I couldn't tell if this was a romance movie or a dramatic conclusion to an action film, but it definitely felt surreal.

Walking me backward, Heeseung lay me gently onto the bed, never opening his eyes, never letting me go, never breaking the kiss. Now it DEFINITELY felt like a movie. I used my elbows to push my way back to my pillow as he held himself up over me. Normally this would be where we separated. He would start kissing my neck or he would lay down beside me and we would wrap our arms around one another. But not this time. His mouth didn't leave mine. His arm didn't reach to hold me. His eyes never opened to look at me.

I started to realize that this wasn't a sweet and loving kiss. We were passionately making out, sure. But this wasn't him. This wasn't us. He was hurt. He didn't want to talk about it. He certainly didn't want to feel the pain. And he didn't know what else to do.

Part of me wanted to be angry that the only way he knew how to express his emotions was to make out with me. But part of me was relieved that he wanted to at all after what he had read and seen.

All I knew to do was to show him that I'm his and that's all. So I pulled him down next to me on the bed, wrapping my arms around him to pull him as close to me as possible. I felt my lips smile through the kiss as he pressed himself against me, leaving no space for anything between us.
