"The End Is Just The Beginning" (Pt. 2)

"So Keith Kogane was it?" Lance's dad closed the back door behind Keith.

"Yeah." At this point Keith didn't feel one hundred percent safe around new people. But he tried not to show it either.

"You were the bad boy at the Garrison? Am i correct?"

"Yes..." Keith crossed his arms, scanning the area for the nearest place to run, even if it was his boyfriends father he still didn't trust him enough.

"Hm. So, how long have you liked Lance?" The older man raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not going to answer that, if you don't mind. That information is for only me, my mother and Lance to know."

The father figure stepped forward, causing Keith to step backwards and into a corner.

He was trapped, something about Lance's dad didn't seem right.

"I-I think we should go back inside." Keith turned his attention to the door and proceeded to walk towards it.

"No." Lance's dad grabbed Keith by the collar and threw his against the wall, "I want to know what you did to that girl Lance was with, Allura. Tell me what happened to her!"

Keith kicked his legs about trying to get free from the mans grip around his neck.

Tears swelled up in his eyes due to the pressure. He knew he shouldn't have left Lance's side.

Just then the door to the house opened and Lance walked out, "Dad, Keith are you two ok- Keith!" Lance ran up to them.

His dad dropped Keith onto the ground and back away, realising what he'd done.

"Keith? Hey, hey... You're ok. I got you." Lance pulled a frightened Keith into a protective hug. He then glared at his father. "Dad! What- why were you doing that to him?!"

"I-I'm sorry son, I just wanted to know what happened to Allura. I thought Keith had done something to her."

Lance patted Keith on the back, drawing circles to calm him down. "No, no! Keith would never do such a thing, why would you even think that for a start?"

"He clearly doesn't like me, Lance." Keith cried softly into Lance's neck.

The back door slid open once again, out came Veronica, Marco and Lance's mother.

"Honey, what's going on out here? Lance darling, what happened?" Lance's mum asked glancing her eyes around the situation.

"Dad tried to strangle Keith. He thought Keith had done something to Allura." Lance moved some of Keith's hair in front of his eyes, he knew Keith didn't like others seeing him cry apart from him.

"Dad... You tried to..." Veronica frowned, "Lance, is Keith ok?"

"Apart from the massive red hand mark around his neck, the fact that he's shaking and could have a panic attack at any moment now. I'd say he's fine." Lance sarcastic said.

"Can we leave?" Keith quietly asked to Lance.

"Yeah, of course babe. Where do you wanna go?" Lance tried to block of the yells and shouts of his sister, brother, mother and father.

"Anywhere but here is fine." Keith felt around his neck, closing his eyes he whimpered because of how sore his skin was to touch.

"Ok." Lance lifted up Keith, bridal style and walked around the side of the house to the garage. "We can go stay with Coran tonight in the castle, yeah?"

"Yeah."

Lance put Keith down and opened the garage door, he then held Keith's hand and helped him into the teleporting machine.

He typed in the location and the two disappeared into a beam of light, hand-in-hand too.
