Sunset Kiss

Context: Keith & Lance have been dating for a while.

The sun was setting in the horizon as the black Paladin, Keith, was watching it from on top of his lion. He smiled as he heard the sweet voice of his boyfriend.

"Hey. You trying to hide from everyone? If you are, you've got a good hiding spot." Lance chuckled and sat down beside Keith. "What ya doing?" He chirped, wrapping his arm around the ravenette's shoulders.

"Hm? Oh, just having one last look at the sunset. It might be the last time we'll get to see it again before we leave for space again." Keith sighed happily and lay his head down on Lance's chest.

Lance inhaled thinking of whether to make his move or not. "Keith can I- uh, y-ou." He held his head in his other hand, as Keith turned around to face him. "This was easier in my head."

"What was?" Keith tilted his head to the side. His face only a few inches away from the others.

Lance took another deep breath and looked at Keith, "I feel like now is the right time to tell you that, I love you."

Both of their faces started to heat up, when Lance leaned closer to Keith.

Through instinct, Keith closed his eyes and too leaned closer. His heart skipped a beat when feeling Lance's lips lock onto his own.

Lance's hands creeped their way around Keith's hips and rested on them.

Keith knew what he was doing and lifted his arms so they dangled around Lance's neck, fingers tangled in his brown locks.

Lance gentle pulled away from the kiss, he struggled slightly noticing Keith's need for more.

Keith frowned slightly looking at Lance, who chuckled.

"Someone's eager, me guessing you liked that then?" Lance grinned from ear to ear, glancing down at the paler male.

"S-shut up, that was my first kiss. Like ever." Keith drew circles on Lance's top.

"Really?!" Lance's eyes widened, he cough and gave Keith a different look. "Really?~ We can always make sure it's two kisses or more~"

Keith stared at Lance, confused about his sudden reaction change. "I think multiple kisses now would definitely make me feel, less stressed out."

Lance barely leaned back in for a second kiss when Keith grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss.

'He really knows how to kiss for someone who has only been with one person.' Lance thought to himself, as the kiss started to heat up and their tongues got involved. 'Definitely going to remember today...' He told himself again while smiling into the kiss.

After a couple of minutes of making out the two pushed each other away for air.

"Wow." Lance still had a cheek grin plastered on his face. As well as bright red cheeks, Keith's cheeks and nose bridge were a darker red; worse than Lance.

Keith shyly looked to the side, back at the sunset. "I'm glad you came to find me. I was feeling a little bit lonely, but was to...awkward to go and find anyone willing to talk with me. Basically what I'm trying to say Lance is, thank you for always sticking by my side."

Lance ran his hand over Keith's cheek, "Anything for you babe, I know how it can be difficult being the leader if Voltron and having some much pressure on you. God, you're gorgeous too."

Keith giggled and turned his attention back to Lance's ocean blue eyes, "And you're so cheesy sometimes. I love you too, Lance."

The two defenders of the universe spend the last half and hour or so watching the rest if the sunset, before going to their rooms to sleep.
