The sun was setting, and the ex-Black Paladin was sitting outside off his cabin by himself.

"Keith! Keith, your friend's calling you!" Krolia shouted from the house, she walked to him and gave him his phone. "I'm going to be leaving with Mr. Holt soon, Katie said she might join you. If she doesn't don't be concerned." She smiled at him before going to her ship and left.

Not long after, a voice came from behind Keith. And Keith started to smile to the sound off it. "Keith, embracing his inner loner self. Typical."

"Says the guy who works at a farm all day long, and has a friend, who is a cow!" Keith playfully joked back.

The boy sat down beside Keith on the dark grass, "I'll have you know Kaltenecker is a great friend, unlike you." Lance chuckled, lightly punching Keith's shoulder. "It's been a while, what've you been up to?"

"Getting older, suffering Blade missions and reminding myself everyday that I don't have a partner to come home too after a long days work..." Keith quickly realized what he said and waved his hands around frantically, "N-not that that bothers me in anyway whatsoever, haha! I'm definitely not wishing the person I fell in love with will notice me! 'Cause that would be lame!" Keith nervously laughed, he stopped when he seen Lance giving him a look of sympathy.

"Keith..." Lance knitted his eyebrows together. He lifted his hand and patted Keith's shoulder. "I'm sure if you asked her out, she'd be proud and happy to have a man like you." His cheeks lit up and he smiled like a child.

A shooting star pasted above them and Lance shook Keith frantically. "Look a shooting star!" He pointed towards it with big eyes. He closed his eyes and mouthed a wish.

"What'd you wish for?" Keith asked, tilting his head.

"I wished..." Lance took one of Keith hands and grinned, "I wished that you'd confess your love to that girl before it's too late!" Lance dropped his hand and stared off into the distance at the dusted clouds where the sun was setting.

Keith let his eyebrow drop and he sighed, "Yeah... Her..." He whispered to himself, not averting his gaze from Lance one bit. As Lance was unaware off his pain.
