Tears streamed down the ex-black paladins face as he stood in front of his brother in his house.
"All I wanted was to see Lance...happy, and- and now the one he loves is dead. He's heartbroken, so am I...But I kept on telling myself that I don't have feelings for him. That's why I felt for blade, Shiro! I thought that if I left, those feelings would just go away..."
He paused and looked up to see regret on his brothers face. "But they haven't... They never will, they'll always be here and I can't do anything about it. One because Lance friend-zoned me, two he told me he'll never get over 'Lura and three because he'll never feel the same way towards me anyways."
Keith turned his head towards the door and walked to it, "So in answer to your question Takashi, yes, my friendship with McClain is better than I could ever dream off!"
And with that Keith left the room, slamming the door behind him, and leaving Shiro feeling guilty...
