Hunk, Pidge, and the MFE pilots where all sitting around a table in the cafeteria. Axca too was there.

"What's up with Keith?" James tilted his head so he could see him eating by himself, at the back of the room.

"I don't know, probably back story stuff." Axca shrugged it off, "Knowing Keith we don't wanna get involved."

"And us actually knowing Keith, it's probably very important." Pidge stabbed her potato with her fork and glared at Axca, before taking a bite of it.

Ryan held his chin in thinking, "You don't think it has anything to do with the red Paladin, do you ?" He looked around at everyone who all gave him a blank stare.

"Who? Lance?!!" Nadia raised her voice a little more than she intended, which made Keith look up from his food and raise an eyebrow at the seven of them.

"Nadia!" Ina and Hunk shushed her, to were she was sliding under the table.

"Whoops..." Nadia gave them a 'whoops' hand gesture and continued to finish her food.

Not long after Keith finished his meal and walked up to them, "If you don't mind me asking, why were you guys talking about... Lance?" The half-Galra crossed his arms.

"W-we, ah, we, we were just..." Hunk shuddered feeling sweat running down his back and forehead.

"We were just saying how we're happy that Lance and Allura are now together." Ina grinned, her freckles all bunched together as she smiled at Keith.

Keith bite the inside of his mouth. While walking of to his room, he rolled his eyes - wondering why everyone was so obsessed with those two getting together.

"Did you see his reaction to that?! He's clearly jealous." Nadia poked the table at her statement.

"I wouldn't say jealous, Nadia. I'd say more...heartbroken to say the least." Ryan added, then proceed to take a drink out of his cup.

"Keith? Heartbroken?!" Nadia stood, once again practically shouted around the cafeteria.

"Quiet! Nadia!" The rest told her in unison, while pushing her back down onto her chair.

"Anyways, Keith being heartbroken? I didn't even know he liked Lance. Heck he doesn't even look gay." Pidge's hands clawed up into fists.

Axca cocked and eyebrow at her, "He gave me a blank stare, when me and Veronica tried flirting with him the other day. He's clearly gay, and he doesn't shut up about guys in the Garrison." She lifted up her tea spoon and swerved it around in her coffee cup.

"Even if Keith is gay or not, we shouldn't be talking about him like this. Especially if it's a serious situation that he is in." Hunk took the last spoonful of his soup and stood from the table. "I'll go and see what's wrong with him. And no one eavesdrop on our conversation either." The yellow Paladin strolled out of the cafeteria and made his way down to Keith's room.

When Hunk lifted his hand to wrap on Kogane's door, the sound of soft sniffles and cries came from the inside. Hunk knew that eavesdropping was an awful thing, but he couldn't just walk on in to Keith's room when he was crying; so he pressed an ear against the door.

"I know that being heartbroken is an awful thing honey, but you can't change other peoples decisions." A voice came from inside of the room.

'That sounds like Krolia...' Hunk thought to himself, as he heard someone walking to the door. He quickly darted around a corner and pretended to be going to Keith's room, again.
