"Keith, what is with you recently?!" Shiro asked slamming his hands down on the wooden desk in his office.

The office was small; but large enough for 4-5 cabinets, 2 small bins on either side of the room. A curtain covered the back door at the entrance, while a rug sat in front of the door. The lamp in the corner of the room was a cream colour, it gave off a bright light - but not bright enough for you to see the figures of others behind the curtain.

Keith crossed his arms, looking at the floor. He just wanted to talk with Shiro about a couple of problems he has. Why was he getting so much hate? First from Curtis, then Hunk and now Shiro. "I just wanted to talk is all. Sorry of I'm bothering you, Shiro." He sighed and started walking towards the door, as he set a hand on the door Shiro spoke.

First Shiro mumbled to himself then stood from his chair, "No Keith. I should be sorry, I told your mother I would still keep you under my wing-"

"You have wings?" Keith raised an eyebrow at him in confusion. He couldn't tell if he was being stupid now or not, he probably was.

Shiro awkwardly smiled at Keith, strolling up to him he sent a hand on his shoulder. "No, no no. Keith, it's a figure of speech. It basically means I promised Krolia that I'd always help and look out for you. I kinda forgot you were to straight forward."

"I can't tell if that's an insult or not." Keith gave of a blank stare to Shiro, he had sort of forgotten how to 'let lose' recently due to him solving and helping problems with B.O.M over the past few months? years? He can't remember there's been that much action.

Shiro laughed softly, "It's not an insult. Anyways, you came here for something. Was it extra money? Having trouble with someone? Or is it relationship advice? Whatever it is I'm your man." Shiro stated leaning back against his desk.

Keith felt a knot in his stomach, this was it; this was the time to tell Shiro about his problem. "Actually, yes. It is about...a relationship and feelings. It's about Lance-"

"Lance? Keith..." Shiro's eyebrows fell together as he stood up straight again. "You're still worrying about your feelings for him? Come on Keith we've talked about this." Shiro placed his hand on his nose bridge and squeezed it.

"I know- I know, I just...Can you talk with him? And asked him if he's ready to move on then I can asked him out after." Keith asked, twiddling his thumbs together over his closed hands.

Shiro sighed once again, "Keith, look. You need to stop stressing out so much and just ask him out already."

"I can't-" Keith started he was cut off by Shiro grabbing his shoulders and gently shaking him.

"Why not Keith?! Why? What's so bad that you can't just ask someone you love out on one date?! You've been going on about this for at least 10 years, enough of living in the past and just..." He paused for a minute, "And just focus on the future...Your future you dream of is being with him, and the only way of getting there is to go through difficult challenges and chooses."

Keith knew Shiro was right, he wasn't one for giving up on him. No matter how many times he's been lurking in the shadows, Shiro was always able to help him into the light. "What happens if he is still stuck in the future? What...what then?"

"Why do you even bother, Keith?" Shiro let his arms fall to his side, he rolled his eyes and made his way back to his chair. Sitting down in it, still having his attention at Keith. "Well, Keith. Why do you even bother with Lance? After seeing him him high Allura."

"Shiro, please stop-"

"After seeing him hug and hold Allura like his life depended on it."

"Shiro-"

Shiro stood up, pushing his set back which slid back. It slid back and hit of the cabinet behind him with a bang. "After seeing Lance kiss Allura and tell her how much she meant to him. Keith Kogane, why do you even bother with those feelings anymore?! Answer me!"

Keith snapped, his hands in fists as he screamed back at the other man he calls his brother. "Because I love him!" He was on the end of crying, it wasn't long before tears fell down his face. "Because...because I love him, Shiro. I'm scared to tell him that, I'm scared he won't expect my feelings for him. And I'm scared that he'll leave me."

A smiled broke on on Shiro's face, he pulled the younger boy into a hug. "See what you told me?"

"Yeah?" Keith wasn't one for hugs, but he really needed on right now.

"Just tell Lance exactly what you said to me, trust me he'll understand everything. He'll help you too. I promise everything will be ok Keith, I know you mightn't think that. But look at me, I thought I'd never get over Adam. I haven't forgotten him, I've kept him in my heart; but I too have Curtis in my heart. He's my husband and I love him very much, he taught me how to move on. Lance just needs you to do the same with him." Shiro pulled away from the hug, still smiling.

"I-I guess you're right. I'll go talk to him." Keith grinned and returned to the door.

"And Keith." Shiro lifted his coffee from the table, in a toast way.

Keith took on last look at Shiro, before leaving "Yeah?"

"Go get your man." Shiro nodded at him, he watched Keith leaved the room and run to wherever Lance McCain was. He them glanced back at the window, looking out of it. "God, I hope their conversation ends well." He gritted his teeth at the thought.

Lucky for Keith, Lance did want help moving on. And Lance couldn't have thought of a better person to show him than Keith...
