Just seeing Vegas was enough to get me excited. I felt my heart racing in my chest as I stood in the cold wind, unable to take my eyes of him. He has perfect posture, yet looked so relaxed, sitting on the edge of the pool, swirling the champagne in his glass.

Compared to Kinn, I had only ever seen Vegas drink wine or champagne. Like everything else he did, I found this quality of him to be quite remarkable. He added to graceful and elegant charms Vegas possessed.

I didn't even realize that I was still holding the deck door open, when I felt a gush of wind blowing. I couldn't compete with it, even though I tried to prevent the door from slamming. I didn't exactly want Vegas to know I had been watching him all this time.

But alas, I couldn't compete; the door slammed and it sounded like the noise was loud enough for the entirety of Thailand to hear. Having a crush made me behave irrationally, they always did. And compared to my other friends, I always seemed to have the most outrageous experiences because I let my feelings consume me. So, I even though my secret observing being found out was going to be embarrassing, I expected it. It was bound to happen.

Considering how little Vegas thought of me I wondered if he even bothered to turn around and look who had entered the decked. I slowly turned, letting go of the door, toward the direction of Vegas. Just as I thought, it didn't phase him. Vegas hadn't changed his position once; he still sat calming holding onto his glass.

"Tay," I heard someone say. I must be hearing things, there was no one else on the deck and there is no way Vegas would be calling out to me. I shook my head and turned to the door. Even though I wanted to spend more time here. Despite there being such a distance between us, I wanted to be near Vegas. It felt like I couldn't even move as my body resisted my decision to leave the deck.

"Tay," I heard again. This time I knew I wasn't imagining things. I turned back and scanned the area but no one was there. I looked around one last time...and then I saw it. Vegas. He sat leaning on his arm that was stretched out, with his eyebrow raise, and had now left the glass beside him on the deck.

"Tay," he said once again, causing me to look in his direction. The instant we made eye contact, he continued speaking, "Took you long enough, I have called out for you several times now."
