I hadn't even realized that I dozed off on Vegas' chest. Somehow, his rapid and haphazard breathing made me calm that the instant I closed my eyes causing me to fall asleep.
Slightly disorientated I propped myself up onto my elbows and looked around the room trying to familiarize myself in this somewhat foreign place. I look down at Vegas and bit my lip. How on Earth did I end up under the covers with his arm draped over my waist? Maybe in my dreams, but I never for once thought this would become a reality.
If I recalled correctly, Vegas and I were at the opposite end of the bed when everything had calmed down last night, so how were we now further up and lying on the pillows? I smile softly when I realized what had happened.
Vegas had a caring side to him that I didn't know existed and even though most of my thoughts always consisted of Vegas in a sexual nature, his romantic and thoughtful behaviour made me feel a different kind of way. He made me feel special. Needed. Deserved.
As brushed Vegas' hair out of his face, he groaned and called out my name, "Tay, just a little longer. Let's not wake up now..." he spoke as he pulled me closer to him.
My back was against his chest as Vegas wrapped both his arms around my waist, resting his chin onto my shoulder. "Were you planning on leaving?" he whispered, sounding slightly hurt. "Next time, just stay...There's no need to go anywhere."
Vegas' comment took me off guard. Next time? Vegas wanted to do this again?
I turned around to look at him, startled by his comment. "Next time, Vegas? What do you mean?"
Vegas looked down at me and just smiled. "Next time, Tay. The next time we do this..." he spoke before placing a kiss on my lips and hugging me tighter.
"You know, Tay, I think it's time you finally set yourself free from Time. I hope you know that you are worth way more than some cheating bastard who can't appreciate you for the amazing person you are. I don't really know why you are staying by his side, and honestly, you deserve better, Tay."
At this point both my cheeks were flustered upon hearing his words. Once again, this thoughtful side to Vegas was not something I had expected. We weren't even that close, yet he was being so sweet and caring.
Vegas caressed the back of my head as we held each other. Just how I didn't want this experience to end, it seemed he shared similar feelings.
"Should we grab some breakfast before I drop you off at home?" Vegas suggested after several moments of silence.
Honestly, I was barely thinking straight. I just wanted to spend each and every single moment indulging myself in Vegas' words and actions.
"Tay?" he repeated causing me to register his words.
"Mmh," I said looking up at him. "Breakfast sounds good."
Vegas took hold of my chin and place another soft kiss on my lips. "We can order room service, okay?" he spoke for kissing my lips again. "But in a bit... I rather kiss you than eat right now," he added smiling down at me.
